Super Smash Bros. for WiiU & 3DS director Masahiro Sakurai said: "Pic of the day. This is the Orbital Gate stage. This is a Wii U version-exclusive stage reenacting Team Star Fox's defense of the Orbital Gate from an Aparoid missile attack."

Beautiful stage, but a bit hectic.

I hope the Wii U version has stages that are a bit more ... tournament viable. This one may be okay but let's be real - probably has a hazard or some ceiling spike or some Arwing that flies offstage really fast.

Absolutely gorgeous looking stage. I don't have too many personal memories of Assault itself, but I'm really excited to play on this one if only for the visual eye candy! And the songs will be fantastic as well I'm sure!

I loved Assault too man. Especially the multiplayer. This stage represents like one of the most epic parts of the story mode too. Can't wait for this game.

I can see an intense 1v1, no items, battle going on between Fox and Wolf (if only he were here) on this stage, with cool music and shots going off in the background. And even though the landscape keeps changing they'd just go with the flow and fight.

Sorry for being 'that guy', but what exactly does this say for the whole ToS Leak? I mean... It appears you spend at least 1/3 of the stage actually ON the Great Fox, so it isn't exactly deconfirmed just yet, I guess?
