So, what are your thoughts on Joker's musical choices?
Do you think they'll stick to only Persona 5 tracks or include some from the other games in the series and maybe even Shin Megami Tensei If since those games' battle songs can be used in Persona 5 simply by having Joker don the uniform for that respective game.

Honestly, while I'll be very, very okay with just Persona 5's music, I wouldn't mind having the other game's main battle themes as well.

Well..not really..she uses things that were used to Torture or Execute Witches back in ye olden times..the horse one just became linked with erotica due to being used in fetishy torture porn..though in a not nearly as painful variant.

I don't want to be disappointed after Final Fantasy (and to a lesser extend, Sonic), but I have big hopes of Persona music in Smash.

If you make it in Smash, you're going to be remembered for basically as long as people remember the game. It's why "EVERYONE IS HERE" was soo damn effective.


Ultimate's already more or less a pseudo-hall of fame, anyone added to it at this point are going to be remembered for a looooooooong time.

It's a style match. The goal is not getting a KO or deplating your opponent's stamina but being as extra as possible.

Seriously..lets just build off of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate forever..just do updates on it for each console, a facelift here, an engine tweak there...because I can't help but feel that no Smash Bros. game will be able to match the sheer power of this game's roster..

With 80(Maybe even 81) characters by the time that DLC ends, there's just no way to keep going at this rate.


Besides a few missing Nintendo characters, we more or less have all the big names in now aside from Dixie, Impa, Rex, and a couple others, and while we can add 3rd parties forever, I can't imagine the future of constantly working with the same companies for each installment.



Roster wise, this game is going to be the peak. I know we say that EVERY game, but this game is going to be nearly triple Brawl's and is like 20 more than Smash 4, that's absurd.

You know what the funny thing about all of this is?

I legitimately think we can go further than Joker from Persona 5.

At this rate, that game is gonna come to the Switch. Joker in Smash isn't JUST gonna be for "hey, it's him!" While for the longest time, Persona 5 has been known as a Sony exclusive, so was Crash and NieR Automata, and look what happened.

But if we're STARTING with ANOTHER heavily-leaning Sony character, honestly? I'm just gonna call it and say near the end, we're getting Master Chief.

To bridge the gap. Make Chief the first ever non-Nintendo character that doesn't, and probably never will have plans on Nintendo's platform... but to celebrate how much of an impact Halo has made.

At this point now? With every leaker getting destroyed? Sky's the limit. Anything. Is. Possible now.

It's been about 7000 pages since I made my writeups in this thread about why Joker was being slept on. I'm over-the-moon right now about this, and honestly it's quite surreal. I've never really gotten the characters that were high on my request list in the game, and I was to the point that the Ray Mk III Mii costume had me hyped. He was my most wanted before I experienced Persona 5. I'm sure there are many others who are as excited as I am. Sakurai has already given me more than I could reasonably ask for with Ultimate's base game, and now he's just blown it out of the water. I can't wait for the entire Ultimate journey.

I would assume as much if the trailer had not included the voice of Ann, Ryuji, Morgana, and Yusuke. The fact that it included those guys but not the rest of the Phantom Thieves makes me wonder if it'll be an All Out Attack featuring those characters and we only see the rest of the Thieves as spirits.

I'm a big Haru guy and I'm really hoping my hypothesis is wrong and we do see all the Thieves, but I'm not getting my hopes up for that tbh. I think it'd be sick if Makoto, Haru, Futaba if they can figure something out for her, and maaaaybe Akechi randomly cycled in for the All Out Attack and just didn't have voice lines or something. But I doubt they'll do that.

Just have Futaba hack into Palutena's Guidance(For the love of god, give DLCs this time), and that'd be good enough for me.

The only thing that makes me think they may be cycled out (if it’s even his final smash) is that they didn’t limited it to 3 but had Yuskue talk too
