Cloud's reveal trailer started with iconic Final Fantasy 7 music (which is probably where that fake leak got the idea).

Little Mac's reveal trailer was so very obviously for Little Mac as well. Punch Out music and themes from the beginning.

Isabelle's trailer also had her on screen from the get go.

So yeah he could very well do that with Geno or any other potential remaining newcomer.

Marketing is not meant for people who will already buy the game + more. The marketing has been rather good and created a lasting impression with the “Everyone is Here” slogan. Why would I market to you if I know you already buying into my product? Sakurai marketed enough to thos people with directs / demos/ etc.

With Isabelle half of the community thought it was a new Animal Crossing game while Cloud...some didn’t recognize or know the music playing at the beginning (also, Palutena had one of the most obvious reveal trailers in Smash 4)

I honestly do not believe the lack of news means anything regarding how the game is coming along. I understand that people are excited for the next reveal and want it to come soon (I do to!), but in all fairness, 8.8 was not that long ago. I will admit Nintendo could have handled pacing a little differently, but would that truly be any better? If they had content more spread out, then all you'd have is people complaining they aren't showing enough. It's kind of a lose lose, TBH.

damn sonic still struggles to kill a lot

ridley's side B is extremely escapable from the looks of it

both players were making a lot of predictable plays though they both had a decent mixup game.

I'm only halfway through the video but this matchup is really interesting to see. It's not as bad for Ridley as I once thought it might be.

For me , this one:

For me? Slow build-up. Smash logo on the screen, then the shot transitions to a field full of fallen old buildings, colorful green grass, and old remains. There's three characters chasing each other across said field, one throwing obstacles at the two chasing him/her while the other do their best to keep up.

Then, suddenly, the shot changes to a silhouette coming towards them, and this kicks in...

Funny you, I remember clearly the chat being unable to recognize ****ING BOMBER OPENING MISSION and like most people though it was Wolf.

Like, the thing is too, if someone embeds a video and someone quotes it with another embedded video, that's not two embedded videos...it's three. The original post, the responder's post, and the video inside the quote of the responder's post.

Now multiply that by however many people reply and bam, people with slower or mobile devices are ****ed.

Before he lands a slash, the ahadowy marionette dodge's out of the way.

Geno gives it a whirl.

Well, that's my dreamed final reveal.
