Combining three tracks from evening times in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, the Night Remix starts off with an orchestrated version of 7PM (starting at 0:09 in the video), with a slightly more peppy feel, think maracas. At 0:38 (7PM), the fading effect changes chords, and goes into 8PM at 0:40 in it’s respective video. Once again, it has a little bit of a peppy feel, but it doesn’t detract from the relaxing tune. At 1:12 when the ‘skittering’ starts, it grows, transitioning into 9PM. The bongos heard in the background are more prominent, keeping the peppy feel. This song continues to 1:58 where the low horn is replaced by an accordion, changes chords again, and goes full loop into 7PM.


There’s lots of potential for a relaxing, yet fun and charming feel to this track.

A lovely piece, appearing in the game where you first become the mayor of your own town. Seeing as this is a huge change to the series, the piece makes even more sense. A little flute there, a little music-box here, and throw in an orchestration, and you’ve got a great track.

Another exciting and fun track, I couldn’t resist adding this one. Imagining K. K. Slider riding a motorcycle makes this song even better. This will also be the last K. K. song that was featured in Brawl.

Appearing First in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, K. K. Western suggests classic spaghetti westerns and rangers on a mission. The guitar and harmonica add to the atmosphere, and occasional trumpets make this track a no-brainer for Smash.

A departure from the previous K. K. songs, K. K. Fusion is a remix of the 5PM theme in the original Animal Crossing. The techno beat and electronic drums remixed would be a great addition to the City and Town stage, adding a ‘modernized’ feel.

This tune obviously brings Scott Joplin and a homey feel, great for Town and City. I added this one because I’m a huge Ragtime fan, and K. K. Slider doing his own version of the popular genre is a winner in my book.

One of my favorites. Not super Creepy, but a little unsettling. It’s infamous for being featured in the player-made village named Aika. This would also fit well with the “Psyco Villager” meme that became big after the Villager was revealed for SSB4.

The opening song to Villager's appearance on Smash, this tune perfectly sums up the peaceful, cheerful feeling that Animal Crossing has...feels so warm and comfortable, like a pillow filled with Nintendo feathers~! Although this song fits a little more as the sun's rising, I think a midnight walk around town with this playing would also be absolutely delightful!

I absolutely love the goofy feeling that this theme carries, definitely sounds different than most AC themes, a little ridiculous, but that seems to be the point with this theme, like strolling around town while wearing sandals with socks, everyone freaking out at the disaster of civilization.

GROOVY! The perfect tune for a bustling city at night! There's something so special about official K.K. Remixes...I'd add K.K. Soul (Chill Mix) ONLY if I had enough space, but there's a surprisingly huge amount of epic AC music to choose from on this round! Brawl also had a shortage of techno/electronica/house and I hope this game fixes that problem.

Upbeat, adorable theme from New Leaf...the main guitar & xylophone melody IS SO SOOTHING. I really love everything about this song, pretty much sums up the feeling of Animal Crossing music...warm, welcoming and sometimes upbeat enough to lift your spirits on a not-so-good day! Although this song's pretty upbeat already, I'll suggest adding some slightly-stronger percussion and an extra guitar melody like on this video to make it fit Smash perfectly!

Here comes a tune a little darker than the rest, this rather magical-sounding music can be heard at 7PM on New Leaf...and it does wonders to the atmosphere of your town, making it seem like a mystical, abandoned ghost town or something along those lines. 7PM's one of few songs from Animal Crossing games that truly make you dive into the game's world, this song's a perfect mix of relaxing, unnerving, soothing and sad, and you can find yourself aimlessly walking around town to let yourself get sucked into the game, this one's specially memorable if you've got walkways with lampposts at the sides. I'd call this the Midna's Lament or Calling to the Night of New Smashville.

K.K. Slider's most memorable song, IMO...the obvious Ultraman/Sentai Warriors feel really makes it stand out among Animal Crossing tunes, even among K.K. Slider's other upbeat tunes, as the melody sounds heroic and triumphant. Aside from this song being originally good, Super Smash Bros. Brawl gave this one a massive overhaul with a new arrangement that makes the song stand out even more and sound really epic, this probably has to be the tune most fit for fighting on this stage, and the fact that it contrasts so much with the other AC tunes just makes it more special.

Evidenced by Dr. Wright, Nintendo owns all original content made for the 1989 Sim City...so celebrating their biggest simulation series with the begginings of simulation series seems fitting, this theme sounds pretty hopeful and promising, like a city about to be built on a solid foundation of good people, I think it mixes well with the other cheerful themes of the Animal Crossing series, although it does feel a little more upbeat, but a little variety never hurts, right? This theme would ideally play at night, as the Sim City title screen suggests.

On Saturday nights, K.K Slider will play all the songs he played on Brawl plus:

K.K. Adventure
Get Lucky Feat. K.K. Slider <--This is a joke, although it would happen on a perfect world.

Reasoning: Tom Nook is a major character, that big-balled power-hungry son of a gun. He’s possibly among the evilest of the Nintendo characters, and is part of the Villager’s Final Smash. So, I feel his boss theme would add a lovely touch to the already murderous and psychopathic stage of the Villager.

I know I’m overloading with songs from Brawl, but there really hasn’t been a new Animal Crossing game in between them for home consoles. I’m sure some New Leaf songs would work though...
