ANTI ICON THEORY PEOPLE REJOICE! FOR THE (alphabetical) ICON THEORY HAS BEEN DISPROVEN!!!
and yes, the alphabetical icon theory is dead, stop being in denial.
Yeah, it's so cool to lack a reliable theory for speculation about Brawl in a forum that is about speculation about Brawl!ANTI ICON THEORY PEOPLE REJOICE! FOR THE (alphabetical) ICON THEORY HAS BEEN DISPROVEN!!!

That seems to be the one thing we can deduce from it, yes.It died along time ago but people still clung to it...
I still think it shows Game & Watch will appear in some form though
Yet, you don't have proof 21 won't have characterI don't claim this to be my idea, but it still works (not alphabetically though) if you consider it:
1-14 Veteran Series (which leaves a gap for G&W at 13)
15-20 Newcomer Series (one gap for another series, possibly 3rd party)
21+ Series without a Character
Which would imply that there will be an animal crossing character :/
That's why i said idea. But to me, it doesn't seem logical for the ds symbol to have any character at all. But it has given us some big suprises in the past. So i'm not sure, but if it is characterless it does seem to fit.Yet, you don't have proof 21 won't have character
Visit my DS thread in the character section, it at least give ideas of what a DS character could be...That's why i said idea. Some interesting ideas, but nothing really strikes me as a playable character. I think i should have been a bit more clear in my summary, i meant 21+ as series without playable characters. So something like nintendog may very well take that icon, but it still could be a bracket for non-playable character series. And although mii has a ds relation, it is known for its wii presence, and would be very odd to have the ds symbol represent it.Visit my DS thread in the character section, it at least give ideas of what a DS character could be...
no. the alphabetical icon theory is dead. nintendo systems wont get thier own section. its still a brawl debut.Super Smash Bro Debuts

I don't think that it's disproven yet, but that's just me.
Why the hell would the Japanese use the English spelling to order the Japanese names, furthermore why would LoZ be under Rinku? That's a bit ambiguous isn't it. Seems like grasping at straws to try and find some method to Nintendo's madness more so than anything else.Super Smash Bro Debuts

that just roffled my waffle.Something like Pi-Ku-To-Chya-to?
Hmm, that actually seems like a possibility. Since this is not a DS game, but a Wii game, it doesn't seem unlikely that it's just one in a row of many console/handheld-based stages (and/or characters?)Probably they're like representing every Nintendo handheld/console.
Advance
DS
Gameboy (Color)
Gamecube
N64
NES
Wii
And whatnot.
It's lines like these that make* me lose faith in humanity.Anyone who believed there was ever a Japanese alphabetical order to the list is an idiot, really.
