So what's a good solution to dealing with the fact that ideally, you'd want to output 480p from a Wii in order to get the best quality for streaming, but the vast majority of CRTs don't support 480p?

There's of course the BMI which allows you to do component input and composite output (which is amazing why don't more capture cards do this) but it's compatibility issues turn me off.
Gaming monitors work but people ***** about those which will cause problems with running things smoothly, people aren't really ready to accept this yet it seems.
I suppose there's simply getting a CRT that works but I believe these can be difficult to track down (I do have one for myself but I don't want to give it up >_>)
Are there component > composite converters that are lagless?
Maybe there's some other way I'm not thinking of?

Also in terms of capture cards I'm heavily considering getting the XCapture-1, having both 240p and 1080p60 support is fantastic and from what I hear it's quality is pretty close to the BMI, without having the aforementioned compatibility problems. Expensive though.

titled Void Elsword, includes triple EXP, triple cash, gets stuff from the KR servers early, japanese voices and KR names (although some of them are kind of cringey like aranka), and same sex marriage is a thing (my dream of loving iron paladin is finally possible)
also its legal :D
only con is that PVP lags because its an international server, sparring is fine tho

I know of it, but international pvp sounds like every match on ranked would be like fighting the heavy laggers on NA.

and pvp is really the only reason I got interested in elsword.
