So I'm playing my first play through of dark souls.

I'm like 13 hours into it and crawling at a snails pace, but loving it all the same. Took me a while to beat caper demon and gaping dragon but I got past them.

BLIGHT TOWN IS ****ING HORSE **** oh my god. I finally killed all the toxic snipers but lost like 14k souls doing it. The whole place lags on my roommates ps3 and it has stupid platforming, and I have no idea where to go and I refuse to look at a guide.

Idk, so far the game has had amazing level design and interconnectivity, but blight town is horible.
I guess you could say it's a blight in an otherwise perfect game :yeahboi:

The Valley of Defilement in Demon's Souls makes Blighttown look like Candy Land. The drop in frame-rate just makes the place more annoying to go through than it really is.

First playthrough though, get rekt

I'm also probably struggling because I went dex/sorcery with the idea that I'd just 1 hand a dex sword (settled on the iaoto because its so sick) with magic weapon on it, maybe putting a spear in the off hand. The close quarters of blighttown is killing me because I stopped using my shield after the forest place

visually/aesthetically it looks incredible, but in terms of his gameplay you can p. easily tell it's not PMDT-made. it's all over the place and for the most part he just kind of looks like a lankier wario with better recovery and not special at all

he DOES have sheik's dsmash though, and that is god damn hilarious

If you choose the do Madoka Magica, watch the remake. It's the same thing in movie form + very slight additions in art. No scenes cut or anything afaik. Plus the third movie is new content (haven't watched the third, so can't say much on that).
