Hey Crew! Thank you all once again for supporting the Australian Net play Discord channel and Supporting Project M in Australia. It's been a very solid year for the netplay crew and we've seen a lot of new people join our ever growing scene for all the smash games!

These games and chats die out without people making an effort to participate so we'd like to thank you all once again for being awesome. Hope you all have great holiday season as well and hears to a massive 2016 of Australian Smash!

To close out the year we ran one last P:M bracket which had a nice number of entrants considering the time of year:

Unfortunatly we still had come connection issues and a few dramas in regards to the ruleset. We will be creating a proper ruleset over the holiday break and have somthing more solid in place for next year.

Also a lot of people have been asking about melee netplay tournaments. While we are more than happy to host them the community needs to agree on a time and also have someone willing to run them. Let me know if anyone is interested in helping with this and we will see where 2016 takes us!

Much <3 for you all.

Dreadtech's days of TOing Rivals is over, so there have been a few different people stepping up to host weeklies since the last Dreadful Duels was ran.

For the past three weeks, I have been running "Super's Soliders", which hasn't been seeing a large number of entries beyond our normal crew. Seeing as it's been a while since we've had activity, I'll dump results in one big post.

Super's Soldiers
Bracket: http://challonge.com/SSRoA1

Results:
1. Dave
2. Neeson
3. SNC
4. Ryzuul
5. Aguenic
5. SoraisB0SS
7. CyborgPanda

A bit of a quiet one with 7 entrants and three separate DQs. At least some new faces in this weeks tournament though. The only noteworthy event would be Ryzuul's 4th placing playing only one set.

Super's Soldiers 2

Bracket: http://challonge.com/SSRoA2

Results:
1. Neeson
2. Ryzuul
3. William
4. SNC
5. LeoKat
5. Aguenic
7. JohnnyBeefCake
7. DankTui

Another quiet one with some new folks fighting out the gate. Both William and Ryzuul record wins against SNC to drop him to 4th, whilst Neeson wins every set he plays, although dropping one game each time to tease his opponent. Ryzuul has a strong placing against William winning their bo5 3-2. Neeson wins his first weekly with no higher rated players present to contest him, because we all know SNC is a fraud.

Super's Soldiers 3
Bracket: http://challonge.com/SSRoA3

Results:
1. Dave
2. Ryzuul
3. Dri$$le
4. HydroPimp
5. Jet
5. Chait 'Paul Kreenis' Hei
7. place: JohnnyBeefCake

A more diverse set of players this tournament, with no Neeson and SNC dropping out of bracket before it started due to controller problems. Ryzuul once again has a strong showing, taking out Dri$$le 3-0 and taking Dave to last stock in his three games in grand finals. Chait enters and lags out the competition, losing in an upset to HydroPimp.

This week was the first character ban tournament that we've run. We allowed players to ban two characters that their opponent could not use, which made for a very interesting tournament overall.

Aussie Bannter
Bracket: http://challonge.com/AusBannter

Results:
1. Dave
2. Dri$$le
3. Palirock
4. SNC
5. Will
5. Jet
7. Neeson
7. Felster Bunny
9. TheDankTui

One of the more fun tournaments we've had, and something that we plan on doing the second week after every patch until release.

Seeding these tournaments is seemingly meaningless when most guys only play one or two characters. Felster in his first tournament was the only person to take a game off Dave this tournament, beating his Maypul in round 2.
