It actually isn't. That was a common misconception.

Although, it should also be noted that Smash Bros 4's engine is probably more taxing than Melee's engine.

Ridley would be more like the lowest scoring trait on the Privilege list (Transgendered) alongside Chrom, since they not only had some of the most crushing disconfirmations, but they also were the two rejected newcomers we got an explanation for from Sakurai.

K. Rool will be there too if he's truly out (I think he is, but the majority seem to think he still has a shot, so....)

I'm above average privileged (white, male, straight). But I think the whole check your privilege thing is stupid and immature. Just because you belong to a certain group doesn't mean your incapable of empathy. I went to a 70% black school. One of my classmates got shot after graduation. I don't know what it's like to walk to the bus afraid, but I'm well aware of the vast inequality that exists in America. Some people aren't exposed to those kinds of experiences but it's not based on the color if your skin or who you fancy. I know "minorities" who grew up in a much more affluent house than I did and now they are the ones going on Facebook telling people to check their privilege. It's annoying.
