Ursula's VA doesn't sound bad, but in the first episode at least, I feel like she could have used better voice direction

Clearly I misjudged, and I adore it.


Pretty sure that needs more than one waifu. Otherwise it's just a beating.

Real talk though, Pearl might end up alright. There was more Callie love than Marie love at first, and look how that turned out.


Her expression just seems very uncomfortable.

I kind of expect that Inklings' general perception of Octarians (and therefore Octolings) factors into that. They're still at least somewhat at odds, as per the single-player campaign, and while the Inklings haven't struck me as the kind to look down on the Octolings outright, there's probably some tension.

Might even be compounded with something like a general unease with fame or being in the spotlight, although that's not a trait we can really assess at this point.


Only have the basest familiarity with MHA at this point, so had no frame of reference for the original character to compare it to.

Dig it. Honestly feel like it could stand as its own thing.

The origin video was amazing. Can't wait for him to be free of the PTR.

Side note, at the risk of starting a riot, definitely feel like his current VA fits better than Crews would have. Just got that gravitas.

Finally got around to see the Splat Tim 2 Direct. Really good from what I saw. Basically Splat Tim 1 but buffed up. Can't find the Splatfest demo on the eShop, though.

And my, oh my, Marina! I already like her more than the Squid Sisters (sorry Marie ). Pearl I don't give a carp about.

Speaking of pretty girls, I just bought Blaster Master Zero basically for my gal Shantae. Any reason I can't find the Shovel Knight DLC?

Actually, I think one obscure piece of lore included with a music CD said they were 17 in the first game. So 19 now.

That said, pretty much any speculation about the father is going to turn into a a pretty darn random ship. Let alone going the whole mile and just assuming the cousins blended their DNA into an experiment child for kicks.

I forgot to mention this earlier, but I did get around to seeing the Splatoon 2 direct. It was pretty good.

Also I know this topic was discussed a while ago but, I am hoping that W101 gets both a port and a sequel on the Switch (similar to how Bayonetta 2 came with a port of Bayonetta 1). I'm not sure how likely it is, but it would be nice.

I don't think Naoto would get in. While he is liked in Japan, he tend to be disliked outside of it for being a "cliched young student with super power" character. Due to how the novel where he come from is only know by some fan here and there, so sadly, people judge only for his design and the bit that CF show of him, which is not much. Bullet have more chance but she isn't that popular. And for Azrael, I think he is the most likely out of three you presented. (Not that I dislike Naoto and Bullet, They are cool IMO. I'm just judging from what I gather when it come to reception by fan. Beside, I could probably be wrong since Namco and AWS will probably look more at the Japanese fanbase to see what character people would like. Soooo, maybe Naoto is indeed the most possible of the three. Tough, I could also see Kagura, sword aside, his personality and his gameplay could fit very well with the world of Tekken)

Honestly, not being voiced by Terry Crews is for the best. One of the biggest issues with Terry Crews voice acting is that it'd just feel like you're playing Terry Crews as Doomfist instead of Doomfist. On top of that, Terry Crews just doesn't fit the character.
