I don't see Paper, BJboy and Toad as "likely". The overabundance of Pokemon bothers me. The lack of retros is bad. No new FE? THREE F-ZERO?! Nonono.

I would nitpick the roster, but I'm much too tired to get REEAAALLLLLLY talkative. But, you obviously get why the roster shouldn't be left solely to popularity. Plus, at this point I think the roster would look even worse. Waluigi has a disturbingly large fanbase. His votes are creepin'.
