I've got a couple up now, and a few more coming. take what you want, I won against Rofa, lost to scotu, and the teams matches should have some good stuff.

Unfortunately, this was right before I started implementing wavebouncing, which would have been extremely useful (like in Levitas vs Rofa 1 at the beginning). Hopefully, I'll get a chance to record some friendlies soon, and those will show what I'm doing w/ wavebouncing.

Split it up over time... you dont have to watch all of them now. I figured that I'd post them all since this is a Lucas video Compendium ^^;

Well, I guess the last 5 or so will be better, since those are more up to date (they have more practice). I liked all the videos though.

Hazard99, be reasonable. When I decided what to post here, I picked 6 out of 15 because watching better games is better than watching better and worse games if you're trying to pick up tricks and get better.

Well, I personally learn from people's mistakes as well. I'm fairly certain that something can be learned from each video, regardless if he was amazing in one video or not.

I felt that posting more videos is better than posting 5 or six. Next time I'll make a note of the ones I find to be "better" for all of you who disagree with my reasoning, but I'll still post all of them for those who like to watch videos... I'm sorry that this caused such a freaking fuss.

Also, how do you make a hyperlink? I feel terrible making the TC redo all the links in a different format. Let me know how to do it so he/she can just copy and paste my post.

Edit: Nvm, I figured out how to do it.

Wow, pk fire seems that it would be completely negated by thunderjolt, but then again you can heal a lot in that match up. Should be an interesting one regardless.

I actually do know people who live there, but they're family friends and my own family has NO idea that I have a "relationship" with Smash...they hardly ever see me play it so it'd be mad awkward if I visited those people and was like "alright, peace"...the awkward thing being: how the hell would I know some randomass people in Ann Arbor aside from our family friends?

And yes Manu, I'm talking about the the only Anther that I'm aware of, lol. Like I said, he's not a huge fan of the new pika as opposed to Melee's, but uses some Pika and Lucario as of the last time I saw him (9 days? I think so).

yeah as a Pika main in Melee, he feels way different in Brawl and while he's really **** good, he's not as maneuverable anymore...I dunno, fair-->anything is nice. But not enough. I like Lucas better though ^_^

hopefully this weekend I'll get some good Lucas vids recorded at my tournament

A brief overview for those who just want to watch the highlights:

22. Good edge guarding with dsmash in the beginning of the match
23. About half way in the fight, Rafa's recovers from "out of edge" with a PKT2
24. Nice battle, nothing too special though
25. More good edge guarding with dsmash towards the end of the match
26. He plays well in the beginning, starts to get sloppy end the end.

when people look for videos in a compendium, they hope to view matches with a higher level of metagame, not just any random match with lucas in it. Otherwise, we might as well just search for lucas on youtube?

so when i mean filtering, i mean that you should have watched every video in the compendium and discerned whether a video is good enough to be in the compendium.
kick the bad ones out.

Without filtering, the compendium is just gunna get messy and overloaded with junk.

Video compendiums in the past melee forums are all filtered appropriately.

Falco: He didn't use shines (much)! x_X
CFalcon: I CAN HAS RECOVERY? // Poor Falcon.
Ike 1: Nice, though didn't go so well near the end.
Ike 2: Rough game. Ike's attacks are so powerful. Rad PK Freezing. Ike's u-smash > PKT2 xD
Ike 3: Ropesnake skills and lots of air hits. That Lucas is dominance.
Ike 4: At 1:50, Ike does a casual walk across the stage. Lucas is sitting there and gets dragged along, then they have a nice trip across the stage. xD
Ike 5: You guys are evolving a metagame in this matchup that's crazy. You're learning each others attack patterns. Well it's actually more like, Ike is too slow a character to react to a speedy ranged character with a sick n-air. GG
King D3: PK Freeze really isn't that useful. You get a lot of PKT bad luck too. Lucas's smashes dominate.
Marth: Marth didn't really adapt to the matchup. PK Fire dominates.
Zero Suit: Wavedashing saves you a lot. And ZSS has a bad day with the pit.

Awesome games. I like how you play Lucas.

Edit: Updated with a recent crew battle (I play first). Unfortunate suicides, besides that it is ok. I was the one with the really annoying voice. Constant explicit language and inside jokes throughout the video might confuse the viewer.
