Yeahh, so I am hosting another tournament. There are a few sections for this. Doubles tournaments never finish so I don't plan on hosting one any time soon.Say:
Normal Singles for signing up for normal all tiers
Normal Low tier Singles for signing up for low tier
All 64 Singles for signing up for all 64 with all tiers
All 64 Low Tier Singles for signing up for all 64 with low tiers.
Can we finish one of mine for once
Generic rules:
- 5 stocks
- 0 handicap
- Stage Select on
- Damage 100%
- Item switch Off
- All chars available
- ROM used: Super Smash Bros. (U) [!]
- Pausing is heavily discouraged. A person can pause in case of desynch. If a person pauses in the middle of a combo, they player being comboed is required to lose a stock. If a person pauses at other times, they are required to say a 3,2, 1 in order to make sure the player paused does not get an advantage. If the player happens to pause and the opponent happens to lose a life due to the pause, the player is required to lose two lives. If a player pauses during a single game 3 times (non desynch related) without a valid reason, the game is over and the opponent wins. Excessive pausing is a form of disruption (see rules on disruption.)
Stages and Stage Based Rules
- The Starter Stage List consists of Congo Jungle, Hyrule Castle and Dream Land.
- The Counterpick Stage List consists of Peach's Castle added to this. You cannot counterpick on a stage you already won without your opponents permission. You can play on other stages if the opponent is fine with using that stage.
- If a person is ranked on the Smash 64 Ranked Match thread or is ranked on the Smash 64 Rankings Tournament, that person strikes 2nd. Once someone counterpicks a stage, the winner of the previous round chooses his character first. If neither player is ranked,
figure it out...
- Black DK (Right-C), Dark Samus (Down-C) and Dark Falcon (Right-C) are discouraged on Congo Jungle. You can ask for the opponent to change
Online rules:
- *P2P is preferred over server play.
- *This tournament is limited to Canada, the United States, and the Top "half" of Mexico. If someone from another area of North America wishes to join, they have to prove that their connection is better or equal to 5 frames.
- *If a match is played on server, observers must ensure they will not cause lag or an increase in frame delay, and may not communicate with players once a match has started.
- * If the frame rate consistently drops below 57fps and there is a clear offender, they will be given one more chance to replay that match - lagging again, even in a different match, will result in disqualification.
- *If the opponent desynches, the game is reset to the percent and stocks as well as it can.
- *If a person claims a desynch 3 times within a single game, the player who desynched loses.
- *If a person lags out, the game is reset to the same stock/percent as before. If the person happened to be in a combo when they lagged out, the other person loses a life. If both players happened to be in a place where neither of them would be able to recover, both players lose that stock.
- *3 Lag-outs in a single match causes a match loss. 5 Lag-outs causes a set loss.
- * Disrupting your opponent or abuse through Kaillera should be reported via a Print Screen/equivalent function, and will result in disqualification.
- * Extreme stalling is disallowed. If it is believed that the opponent is stalling and if it is possible for the person to record without lag, record the rest of the set.
- *Similarly, the DK cargo stall is not allowed to be done more than twice in a row. Another move has to be done in between. Excessive use of this tactic is considered to be stalling.
Bracket will be created through TIO (not the pro one..LOL).

- A person has a week to complete each match ba(i)ring excessive issues.

- Low tier and All 64 low tier: Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Jigglypuff, Ness, Luigi, Samus, and Link make up low tier.
All 64:
