You do realize that King K. Rool wouldn't play anything like what we've had in Smash and that this is the K Rool thread. The reason why the DK series needs more reps is that its been under represented unlike Kid Icarus. We have no assist trophies, Kid Icarus has 2. We have two Smash Run enemies, Kid Icarus has the most amount in Smash Run. Considering Donkey Kong changed the gaming industry I think it deserves a lot more than what Sakurai gives it.
6m worldwide, compared to twilight princess' 7.14m. So it looks like the series whose main character half of the world thinks has a girl's name (and an average one at that) beats out the game that you basically stated was probably the best selling dk game. AAH STATS
My tag comes from a combination of my first Ocarina of Time file name, my favorite bastille song, and my favorite number. My point with new characters was that I purposely knew you would pull up Dixie, who was originally supposed to tag team with Diddy in Brawl, (not in that game huh,) and K. Rool, who has to be voted in, but still has to compete with the idiot character Inkling when other characters like Gunvolt who would have an interesting moveset, not a generic heavyweight moveset that would be like a mix of bowser jr's and bowser's moveset (oh no, poor K. Rool) And my space bar is fine, thank you
bowser, bowser jr, dx3, generic heavyweights, not at all unique. play gunvolt, that will change your mind about movesets

you lost any argument when you started bragging about your accolades. If you want to fight every person about your "views" bring it to the Sakurai thread at least. The way you argue doesn't really fit this thread's style.
Really because according to the OP K Rool has his krown, blunderbuss, helipack, electricity, boxing gloves. Also just because someone is a heavyweight doesn't mean anything, if that character is fun to play well then they are good. Can't say that for Dark Pit though since he is just a clone...
Well, you just lost any validity you had by going against what you literally just said. Are you saying its not fun to play as dark pit, which means its also not fun to play as pit. Also being a clone mean s literally nothing. And Bowser Jr. uses assorted weapons and tools including boxing gloves and cannonballs, which the blunderbuss shoots. Sorry to rain on your parade.

Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D is a port of a game that sold over 6 million units, and it still managed to outsell Uprising. Tropical Freeze is exclusive to a platform that has a low install base and was released two years after Uprising. Not that it matters, since the original Donkey Kong Country (you know, the one K. Rool is featured in) sold over 9 million units worldwide on the SNES alone. From a franchise perspective, Donkey Kong is far above Fire Emblem and Kid Icarus. This is a fact. You could argue that "sales don't matter", but please stop trying to present your opinions as gospel. Because they aren't, and you're just making yourself look foolish.

Dr. Mario has his megavitamins which deal more damage and hitstun than Mario's fireballs. he is faster in the air, has slower attacks, deals more damage, and has a different f-smash sweetspot. (Don't worry if your casual brain doesn't understand these terms.) Dark Pit deal more damage, deals less knockback, and his electroshock arm sends at a lower angle. No one here hates Sakurai or the game. Christ why do you think we play it. We think he should've added more for the DK series than what he's done for his own. Or more for the DK series in general.

Welp, this explains a lot.
Read the sakurai balance thread on the front page. Or allow me to sum it up for you. He states that he has a love for all the series, and even states that if he had designed Mario, people would still hate on him. He also states that he even feels that Pit and Palutena are too weak.
What does this have to do with my post saying that no one hates Sakurai or the game (well people who enjoy life don't). People hate Mario anyway, people hate a lot of different things. Its all subjective.
