1080 Snowboarder: Yes as an AT, no to anything else. There's not enough snow in smash to make sense. However if you want to use the one guy who's both in 1080 snowboarding and Waverace, that'd probably change it for me. He'd have two franchises to take his set from.
Dr. Wright: Yes, played a lot of SNES Sim City, played a lot of Sim City, his mechanics would be new and unique (and pave the way for Dillon from rolling western).
F-Type: .....So cute! Indifferent as his own character, but yes to any other inclusion in this game.

Because unless you are named Shantae or Shovel Knight, you are considered an indie character that is irrelevant for Smash. I know, it's rather backwards logic at best.

I still find that just weird considering how Shovel Knight hasn't had his own "physical" game or so and has really been just a new age Indie. Shantae, I can understand though. ^they honestly loked like nothing particularly special to me especially not enough to take her out of the same indie junk pile i have shovel knight in. No offense to the character or franchise i just am very hesitant to let in most third party characters in general.also tallied up the totals for me.

I suspect people are just against characters they don't know. It also bothers me that the poll lists the character as "Giana Sisters", as though they'd be a duo character, when they'd be more of a transforming character if anything.

For those who aren't aware, despite the game name and character art, Giana is but one of the sisters, with a split personality of cutesy or punky. Her games are about traversing the world of her nightmares to save the other sister, a green haired girl named Maria, meaning that the latest one has you control the dream by controlling the character's personality.
Giana Sisters Twisted Dreams is an amazingly well thought out and executed return to a nearly ancient series with most ignobale beginnings that displays its retro flair with a passion and pride like very little still on the market. If you're not afraid of the difficulty that comes with such an authentic return to the classics, I HIGHLY reccomend giving both Giana and her new game a go.

Non-Video game characters- Ok so this is a particularly iffy topic but for me personally it comes down to this. Does this character have anything to do with video games themselves. For example I think it would be amazing if Wreck it Ralph made it into Smash. That was one of my favorite movies, he is technically a video game character, and he already has interacted with the likes of Bowser, Pacman, Sonic, and even a few Street Fighter characters. I also think as stupid as it would be Captain N, would be a hilarious pick similar to ROB or Mr. G&W. He was or made originally more or less by Nintendo Power, and once again he already interacted with, albeit radical departures of members of the Smash roster such as Link, Zelda Pit, and Megaman. On the other hand you have those who have nothing inherently to do with video games at all besides having licensed games. These are your Shrek, your Goku, etc. These guys have no place in Smash at all. But in conclusion yes, at least to the two that I mentioned. You can probably make an entire series of polls based on this lol.

He has much more than that, y'know. (The massive Durandal by itself sets them apart as well as being able to ride a horse and wield swords, lance and axes in FE6) But you're free to chose whatever you feel it's right.

I guess I may mention my thoughts on a "non" video game character, despite it obviously not going to happen.

Personally... I think Ed, Edd n' Eddy would be a great fit among the cast.

Crash? Yeah, He's more Sony if anything... Then again they didn't even include him in their own SSB clone released a while ago.

Mortal Kombat in Smash Bros.? As somewhat amusing as it sounds, no. I don't think Nintendo is going to let anybody rip Mario's head off anytime soon, anyway.
