Remove: The cloned movesets for :4darkpit:, :4lucina:,:4drmario:, :4ganondorf: and :4tlink:.

Add: Completely new, uncloned movesets for those same characters...

I could remove any number of things, but what I really want is to have the game have default offline smash settings (3 stock, time w/e minutes, etc.)

WHY DO YOU HATE ME? (Ice Climbers would Be great)

I'd put mor spikes on the game. Its just the best feeling (even more for me, do you no how annoing it is for a Pit main to try to spike your oponent and actually save him because Dair throws up).
It's only fair if you think about Pit being THE spike deny character, recovering from almost all the spikes he gets hit with xD

Remove: Sonic or Olimar. Don't even care which.

Add: Distinction causing the Customizations button to only apply to equipment, leaving custom moves permanently enabled with the ability to transfer unlocks from another system and select moves individually upon character selection. (This can be treated as a single entity if I call it a "revised Customs implementation")

I would remove Equipment and add better integration of Custom moves.
I'd do this too.
This may sound weird, but here's what I'd do with [custom] special moves:
- Have all custom moves be equippable to any input (neutral, side, down, up) with customs.
- Remove clones custom moves and equipment, and replace them with wholly unique special moves

The outcome: Characters don't have 12 special moves, they have 6-8 special moves that can be equipped to any any special move slot.

Absolute freedom and creativity with movesets.

Already posted once, but I have more ideas for changes in general....
1. Add Ticket Stock rule set for team battles. Basically, All stocks are shared by default. Players spawn as long as their team has at least one stock. This means all players are playing at all times. No more awkward anti-climactic 2v1 that takes unnecessarily long.
2. An easy way to share custom stages. This is a necessity if custom stages are to be used competitively. Even if we don't use them competitively, it would just be nice.
3. Fixed UI in general. Its not that bad, but its not good either. Smash tour shouldn't be on the home screen. Classic mode should be. Challenges probably belongs in games and more. That's just fixing the home screen.
4. One touch Sync button allowing an arbitrarily sized and user defined set of miis, custom sets, and player tags to be ported to Smash 4WiiU.

On the subject of tournament mode, make it more robust and network-syncable across multiple systems to facilitate a realistic in-person tournament event.

I'd remove the possibility of getting previously unlocked moves as rewards... such a stupid system.

I would add the ability to do the final battle of smash tour outside of that mode... being able to pick our best 5 and go to war would be a fun change up from the normal game... beyond me why this wasn't included sense the multi character per person is already programmed in. (But I know nothing about programming.)


Remove: The 3DS version from existence.

Add: :popo:, :pt:, and other things that the Wii U lost out on because it had to sink down to the less powerful 3ds capabilities + Stages that we are denied because they are from handheld games... never mind the fact that Zelda OOT and Star Fox 64 were classic n64 games before they were ported... and the limitations that come from that philosophy.

It goes without saying those that love the 3ds version will disagree... and the above is a make the game better for me without anyone else being considered. (In other words, not something Nintendo should do unless my opinion is the majority)

how about remove nobody because nobody "stole" a slot and that's just mean and selfish thinking.
This guy gets it.

Ok, I would remove smash tour, replace it with smash run or adventure mode (melee)
Remove target blast, add break the targets (melee)
Make Classic Mode actually Classic, not just a mode with Master and Crazy Hand
Remove Terrible Tourney Mode add good tourney mode online and offline
Add the ending battle from smash tour, select 5 fighters.
Remove infinite air dodge 1-3 directional airdodges and you can't airdodge (but can still attack or use specials) afterwards until after touching the ground.

Remove: Zelda/Sheik being separate
Add: Transformation characters (ie make Zelda & Sheik one character again)

Remove: Top Blastline KOs that don't result in a Star or Screen KO
Add: Star/Screen KOs happen for 100% of all top blastline KOs

Add: Smash 64-esque Classic Mode and/or Melee Adventure Mode

I just want a single player mode with some actual theme and aesthetic. We've come to a point where we can have an actual Fire Emblem-based level in Classic Mode or something. I don't know what was supposed to be fun about such memorable fights against Lucina, Dark Pit, Duck Hunt, Rosalina & Luma, and Ike on the most fitting venue for such fight....

Remove anything relating to Wario, Sonic, DK, and F-Zero. Replace it with Issac, Tiki, Sub-Zero, and Taki.

— ability to midair jump out of tumble 4 frames before other options.

Makes midair jumps take the role of aerial recovery in other fighting games, so you don't just air dodge out of aerial combos like a chump and actually think about how you're going to escape. Also makes characters with multiple midair jumps good.

Edit: Remove Lucina. Add War Cleric Lissa.

What? Lissa's a main character in Awakening. Also an excuse to have a non-Lord in Smash. And she uses an axe as her weapon, which isn't really a thing we've seen in Smash before aside from that one special move of Villager's. Question is what you could do with her staff… maybe use a Rescue to pull foes in from a distance, or a Warp for her recovery move? Sleep staves also exist so that might be a thing, and a Balmwood Staff could be used for a self-healing move.
