Just use whatever combination you like the best. Ideally, you shouldn't be worried about off-road stats since you shouldn't be driving off-road unless you get knocked there or using a shortcut (which you should have a mushroom for anyways). My current setup fits the heavy archetype that focuses on speed and handling.

There's over 1000+ combinations, and almost all of them are usable in non-time trial modes.

I encounter someone using the glitch shortcut today. It was literally the only race the person won out of the 10 or so races I played. And he kept spamming the course. Desperate players are funny.

yea but there is clearly a set-up thats best and id like to know which one that is.

like in MKDS is was drybones+egg1 and in MKWii it was Flame Runner+ multiple people. I KNOW this game has a certain kart+wheel+glider thats the best.
