One of the stage unlocks REQUIRES you to play all three gameboards from what I read.

So either do it with 3 CPUs and be bored or do it with three people and cause massive rage.

Smash Tour seems okay to mess around. At the very least, you get to see how much of a tourneyfag someone is if they can't deal with items and such.
