I'm looking into places that are able to host on the weekends, able to provide tables, in the local Pittsburgh area, which shouldn't be too bad of a drive. We CAN get another venue, it won't be easysauce, but it can be done. I've already got a list of possible places.

More concerned with finding a venue. There's plenty of places, I just don't know what exactly the terms are he's looking for. All he has to do is google "Pittsburgh Event Spaces" and he'll be able to find SOMETHING.

Alright guys, heres the deal. the Melee tournament is DEFF happening
dont be discouraged because its a house tourney
the house will hold everyone and fit at least 10 set ups EASY
i have a feeling that this will not hurt attendance, rather strangely help.
a couple of our hidden bosses will be making to this. as well as 2 ohio cars and MI. and some brawl heads.

Rules: i feel like you should all know these but just in case

• Items are set to off.
• Stock and Time are set to 4 stock and 8 minutes, respectively.
• Double Blind*: If elected.
• Contest Port Priority*: If elected.
• Neutral Start*: If elected.
• Standard DSR*
• Gentleman’s Clause*
• Forced Character Selection*: Off
• Matches that time out will be determined by the remaining number of lives, then percentage of the current stock. In the event of a percentage tie, the match should be replayed in full. Sudden Death is not to be played, and will not count.
Doubles Specific Rules:
• Team Attack: ON.
• Life Stealing is allowed.
• If the game is paused accidentally while attempting to steal a life, the opposing team may deem that life forfeit. Wait until the announcer has finished saying defeated before pressing start, or turn pause off prior to beginning the match.

TC, here's a recipe for top 3 Sheik play:
1) Preheat opponent by Wavedashing for no reason.
2) Grab opponent at 90 degrees (to the ground).
2a) *Optional* Pummel lightly with affection.
3) Dthrow immediately.
4) Use them godly DDD tech chases to repeat steps 2 and 3.
5) Fair after 5-10 chases.
6) Let opponent cool offstage.
7) Add Fair edgeguard salt when ready.
8) Repeat steps 1 through 7 for three more delicious stocks.
Best served lukewarm. And with a drink of Final Destination. Enjoy!
