San beat JesiahTEG, an aggressive Snake. Nobody else at that tourament was that good. PikaPika's placing at SNES was obviously a fluke since nothing happened before that and he got 5th at a significantly easier tournament. I'm pretty sure Shugo's Sonic would have also won that event.
