Hm. I like these changes.

I'm pissed that they have botched my 21-0-9 junglers, is all. Lee Sin and Riven are either going to have to give up buff utility or the 21 points in offense if they want Smite mastery... though I guess it doesn't have the CD bonus anymore so maybe it won't be so huge to not take it (although the gold gain is doubled). We'll see.

I don't give a **** about dodge as a mechanic. I want it removed. RNG sucks. But they gotta buff the characters that removing it hurts most. Nimbleness was a big part of Jax.

Exactly. That means you don't get to put 9 into utility for buff duration if you put the point in Defense, or you don't get to hit Executioner (GREAT on Riven and Lee b/c of interaction with their Ult and Q) since you need to put the point in defense instead of Offense or utility.

But, it also doesn't improve CD anymore... question is if missing out on that gold makes a big difference or not (I'm assuming in a long game it would).

Jax has passive dodge so nimbleness is more effective on him than other champs.

everyone can get movespeed mastery.

So yeah, he's getting compensated somewhat. But everyone is getting it, so it's an indirect nerf.

Not to mention, in order to get this new movespeed mastery you gotta go pretty far into the defensive tree instead of just the perfect 9 points for the dodge and nimbleness, and being able to go 21 in offense because you're jax.

All this while most of your top lane opponents are more comfortable going 21 in the defensive tree than jax right now anyways.

I would still put some points into Swiftness on him.

And Thio. When your gold/income is as limited as it is in the jungle, every bit of gold helps.

INcreasing jungle speed and ensuring kills is worth more than 5g/min.

EDIT: Initiator looks absolutely hilarious.

EDIT2: I'm not sure going the full 21 in each tree will necessarily be the best.

Take any champion that has built in CC reduction/immunity. Add Juggernaut. It's gonna be insane regardless of who you put it on.

Been messing with Olaf builds.
Health Regen quints + Regrowth Pendant start with 30 health regen/5 at level 1. Philo + Hog first back, farm all dai. Wriggles + Phage, Wit's End if I need the MR. Frozen Mallet/Atma's lategame. Crushes most of the common top lanes. Garen seems like he's trouble until I get my Wriggles, and I can't stand Rumble. Other than that I really like lane Olaf right now.
Kinda theorycrafting, but how would Olaf be going for cdr? Going for like Frozen Heart + Spirit Visage along with that new mastery in defense puts him just under the cap @18. 2.5 sec cooldown on E seems absolutely insane. Plus there's a lot of incentive for him to go into defense now with stuff like Initiator and Juggernaut. On a champ like Olaf it seems like Utility is really just offering the summoner cdr now compared to the other trees. Is ghost that key to him that he would still have to go into Utility?

heavy offense tree will be quite good for auto attack junglers.
Like..
Demolition on Shaco...
+6% damage on those below 40% with shaco.
Basic life steal with shaco...
10% armor penetration... with shaco.

It would be possible to be close to 60 AP at level 1 on some hax0r junglers.

62.46 AP @ level 1, with 1.5% bonus damage and 6% on below 40%.
