I just want to say thank you, to the SoCal melee community as a whole for helping me raise enough money for Genesis! I love all of you guys! Now I wanna help out Pat. So it's basically the same thing as last tournament, except the money goes to Pat!

Kira - When you said "All he is doing is Dairing, Lasering then wave-shining back" it made me notice I was being waaaay too predictable. If you hadn't said something I probably wouldn't have noticed it so thanks.

man you dont even know, your whole game is predictable
i noticed that from the first game i ever played you

stop playing marth and falcon, they are not going to improve your game. if anything you'll be stalled at your skill level never getting past any hurdles. you'll never beat any marths by doing the same stuff over and over, start thinking about what's the most effective way to get damage. Also rethink your combos, shine bair is the most useless thing falco can do because it ends your combo immediately.

i'll tell you what to look for

also to anyone else who thinks im good at reading habits:
it's easy once you know what to look for

for ex.
marth short hop fairs at you
he does it slightly in front of you while you're running around (dash dancing most likely) right after he's either going to:

L-cancel to uptilt, nair, short hop double fair, dash dance back, spot dodge, roll back, or shield. If they are good they will fair then chase after you with a dash attack or dtilt

- shielding like a noob gets beat by grab
- spot dodge, uptilt gets beat by waiting for it to end then grabbing
- rolling back, dash dance back gets beat by running past them (punish with shine, nair, dash attack, whatever)
- nair is hard to punish (full hop bair behind them?), double fair hit them after the first one, fsmash just wait or run in with your shield, then wd towards them to punish (grab, upsmash, shine, etc)

so you know they will do one of these things, after that its remembering what they usually do (habit) and reacting correctly and being the right distance to not get hit but also punish quickest

and i'd probably repeat this to other people who want to learn eventually

stab you dont know, you're one of my favorite arcadians
but not with the character john attitude
and definitely not if you do blatant camping LOL, that kind of camping is so useless

it used to be 2/3 neutrals only, one ban one reset

but i went to norcal and they're stupid so and they used counterpicks

then someone, i think pocky, was like counterpicks are better when it's just a standard mm (i.e. you can switch characters anytime you want), and neutrals only are fine when it's a specific matchup (cuz it's a mm, not tourny f*ggot).

and that makes sense because it's mad homo when some douchebag picks a counterpick when you're like, wtf i thought this was a specific matchup, you're only picking a CP cause you know you would get destroyed otherwise. if i knew that i woulda just went another character when you picked the CP, or i'd lose intentionally and go marth on yoshi's and CP that, or something equally gay, but since the rules weren't clear beforehand, i won't match douchebag behavior with douchebag behavior and you get away with being a prick. but i'll remember it anyway and hate you for the rest of my life
