A top ten list of any characters I want, eh? Oh, what the heck. Here's my top 10 (within reason):

1. Falco: He's my final Brawl main I've been waiting for.
2. Shulk: Big fan of the Xenoblade soundtrack.
3. Ridley: Just to put an end to the size debates once and for all.
4. Mewtwo: Because I'm a bona fide Pokémon fanatic, and Mewtwo's cool.
5. ROB: Not a main per se, but he's pretty fun to play.
6. Ice Climbers: A want simply just to get everybody over there to chill.
7. Chorus Men: Want to see these guys in action if they really are there.
8. Duck Hunt Dog: The ultimate troll, he'd make for a decent punching bag.
9. Snake: Not a big fan of his series, and he kind of stuck out like a sore thumb, but I'll miss the codecs.
10.Wolf: Cool, I guess. Doesn't fit me, but he's the only other character I can think of I can give two craps about.

Beyond all that, I do not really care who makes it in. It'll hurt a bit not seeing any of this list, but I'll get over everything except the top three. Ridley, I won't get over so easily (none of his fans would), but I won't miss him dearly if he doesn't show up. But the top two, I definitely want in my roster.

By the way, I meant within realistic reason; never said my reasons for wanting them would be reasonable.

I've been pretty vocal on how I felt about a new Zelda newcomer (short answer: didn't want one period) but it really sucks for a character you care for to be deconfirmed.


Toon Zelda, Tetra, Impa, Vaati and Pig Ganon are in the running now.

If all 22 of these characters were to make it in, we'd have about 59 playable characters--60 if we get something completely out of left field (like Rayman), and the Mii Fighters do not have an actual slot. But if I were to guess, the fair average for each of these would probably be eight characters each.

So, if we are to take under consideration all the recent leaks as well as the hints and teases provided, we can disclose the following characters in the game:

Veterans (10): Dr. Mario, Wario, Ganondorf, Falco, Jigglypuff, Mewtwo, Ness, Ice Climbers, R.O.B., and Mr. Game & Watch
Newcomers (9): Bowser Jr., Dixie Kong, Impa, Ridley, Dark Pit, Shulk, Chorus Men, Mach Rider, and Duck Hunt
Cuts (8): Young Link, Wolf, Ivysaur, Squirtle, Pichu, Roy, Lucas, Snake

So...best case scenario, we get the 56 playable characters total including the Mii Fighters (counted as one).

PS: I added the Ice Climbers back onto the roster simply because Ninka's source isn't 100% certain about the cuts; 4Chan 19 was simply spliced together crudely and likely just made the assumptions; and 4Chan 20 and two of the three sets never stipulated that Ice Climbers was indeed cut. The DLC comment was ruled out as being most likely false, though the mods won't go into detail why (it was the very last comment before the thread was locked down). While I am sure that Wolf will be back, he is likely to be of the lowest priority this time around, so he can indeed be gone. If you have to switch one of the newcomers out for Wolf, then go with Mach Rider instead. Poor Richard leak, as far as I can tell, is the only leak overlapping with these that can be called into question.

I would be 100% happy if that was the final roster for smash bros, there's so many good implements in the game already plus a pretty awesome round of newcomers. I'm just really glad the games almost out and i get to get my hands on it

Isaac and Mewtwo. They're the only two left that really matter to me.

3 Zeldas playable? I don't think so. And I see no reason to believe that Ganon would be anything else than Ganondorf's Final Smash.

Impa is all that's left. Especially considering the Trophy Theory.
