Rather than making the unused stage slots 4x4 transparent squares, can you just delete them to save on space?I already mentioned in the OP I'm not making another pack. The idea is that you build your own using this pack. My advice is use the 12 or 16 stage pack and make all the extra icons your build wont be using 4x4 and transparent. That should give you enough filesize headway to use regular sized icons. Trust me, I'm crying too about having to downsize pictures, I kept all the originals on my computer in case anybody figures out how to reduce file size another way.
Due to the number of added stages, you have to be very careful about the filesize of the images you add/replace. I don't remember the exact file size limit but basically if your selmap.pac file goes over a certain number, the game will freeze upon load.I'm pretty sure this was asked already but I couldn't find it, but how do you add SSS icons? I tried but my game froze on the SSS

Make sure the image is the same size as the previous image. It's very finicky. Make sure it's named selmap.pac and not selmap_en.pac.But even when I replace one picture it freezes on the SSS
i'm here for this as well (first off, i'm not using anything included here, i'm manually building my first cBliss build from scratch), i managed to make some more characters get a second set of team colors (or at least it's what the Tool says), but i don't know how to add stock icons to slots that weren't there before, so i'm not testing until i have all the cosmetics readyIm not using this kit but I have two questions regarding cBliss
1. How do I add stock icons to cBliss added costumes?
2. How do i make the cBlisss added costume a team color?
1. the TexPat related to the stock icons has to be fully filled in. Everyone has my permission to borrow this from any of my uploaded packs. It will save you about two hours of painstaking work.i'm here for this as well
about number 2: what i meant was, how do i add stock icons for characters that go over 10 costume slots?1. the TexPat related to the stock icons has to be fully filled in. Everyone has my permission to borrow this from any of my uploaded packs. It will save you about two hours of painstaking work.
2. This is done in the cBliss tool exactly as Mewtwo2000 has described it, by using the dropdown menu to change the team color. Click Modify to soft-save every color change (If you changed FitMario07 to White, click modify, and do the next color). Only click Apply when you are finished changing all color slots. Everyone's issues with the cBliss tool can be mitigated by saving your file and DragCopying a backup in Windows Explorer after every successful edit. Every time the program crashes, load up the previous successful edit and continue until you are finished.
I'm pretty sure that has to do with the texpat as well. Look into the files in my build, it's been a while since I've touched them. If you haven't figured it out by tomorrow, I'll be back at my computer to give you an in-depth answer this weekend.I have a question about Stock Icons as well: Hoe do we add stock icons for the final 3 sonic costumes? I put them into info but they load up as a question Mark stock icon
Tried this, it didn't work and whenever I replace multiple Mini icons it freezes on the SSS screenI'm pretty sure that has to do with the texpat as well. i appreciate that you offer us this shortcut, but i'm afraid it doesn't work with characters that have more than 10 costumes (except for wario)The texpat can be found in info.pac and STGRESULT.pac
They have to be filled in all the way from InfStc.000 to InfStc.471. You'll notice the PM3.6 one is missing numbered slots for costumes it doesn't have, which is where cBliss support comes in and uses all those extra numerical slots. (Red Arrow)
Make sure your inserted number has the correct values for FrameIndex, Texture and Pallet (blue arrow)
I dont know why you guys go through so much trouble though, when you could just export and replace your own InfStockface_TopN__0 with the one in the download in the OP...
A similar thing happens to me...except All-Star Mode doesn't even start, It just passes the CSS and freezesHey guys, I've added lots of costumes into my build manually via cbliss and everything works perfectly in Versus Mode. However, when I use the costumes in All-Star Versus mode the game crashes when it starts to load the next costume (if its a cbliss expanded costume) when someone dies.
Does anyone have any insight as to why this occurs? sinistersnakesennin if you could help I would love it.
Thanks so much.
Yes I tried it but same thing, question marks appearedThats so odd, All Star works for me. I hate to rehash this but have you checked the textpat thing Ive mentioned? It seems to me the game is trying to call upon a resource and when it isnt finding it, it crashes immediately.
1. Yes, but you'd have to edit the codeset to remove cBliss, which would screw up costume order pretty badly, since I made the build to have 10 costumes for everyone.I'm not sure if this was answered already, but I have 2 questions.
Please help
I too would like to know what part of the code is for the ASL only.1. Yes, but you'd have to edit the codeset to remove cBliss, which would screw up costume order pretty badly, since I made the build to have 10 costumes for everyone.
2. I believe you can delete what isn't going to be loaded, but on the off chance you cant see a texture, but the game is loading it anyway, it will crash and you'll never know what crashed it, since you cant see it. Very risky. You're better off substituting the textures in question with 4x4 transparent pngs.
Honestly, if they could make a tool to smart separate gct's into parts you can edit/insert/turn on or off, it would make things way easier.I too would like to know what part of the code is for the ASL only.
M22K has a number of tools for GCTs. Dunno if all of them used in conjunction with one another would suit your needs.Honestly, if they could make a tool to smart separate gct's into parts you can edit/insert/turn on or off, it would make things way easier.
Oh, without a doubt, I'm familiar with most, if not all of them. But something to separate x=cBliss y=ASL codes a=CSS codes b=ProjectM codesM22K has a number of tools for GCTs. Dunno if all of them used in conjunction with one another would suit your needs.
