Hey, just wanted to pop in really quick and address some issues you guys may experience with NTSC-U Basic Brawl. Apparently, nobody's getting matched with anybody (I've been searching on BB for the past several hours). Strangely enough, though, people have had success with PAL consoles, so it does at least work, just not for us Western folk (yet).

Thanks. Interesting how it seems to be working for PAL. I guess that eliminates any issues relating to "port-forwarding" (Thank god, I don't want to even attempt it xD)

Well, I'm pretty sure all "port forwarding" refers to in this case is simply manually entering DNS addresses in your Wii's Internet settings (176.9.146.163 for primary DNS, your router's IP for secondary), which you should definitely do.

Yeah no one is online for the wiimm thing. I played 5 matches with a friend and after that, no one is ever online, even though I have like 5 people who have done the wiimm thing. And its laggier than the Nintendo Wifi Connection. Still grateful for their efforts though.

Are you sure it's the new server that causes the lag? You should go on basic brawl because I'm not getting anyone lol

Yeah. This kid bck with regular wifi had a great connection. And with the wiimm server, it lagged. And I had no electronics devices on other than my Wii.

Its weird, because the first stock of our match had NO LAG. NOT EVEN INPUT LAG. It was amazing. Then second stock and for the rest of our play session, it lagged fairly heavily.

The lag will hopefully be improved as the Wiimmfi servers expand.

Wanted to mention that I just had my first experience with Wiimmfi, and the results were great.

Connection quality was identical to, if not better than regular WFC (hardly any input lag), and although we did ultimately get 91010-disconnected, it didn't happen until probably twenty or so minutes in; we would've been able to start a new room right back up again, anyway.

To those of you skeptical about Wiimmfi, get it anyway and try for yourself. Ignore the naysayers.
