We don't do "performance reviews," but people get booted for inactivity. If you're posting in the BBR and trying to help, you're doing your job.

The analogy isn't flawless, because this isn't a real job. People aren't getting paid; we aren't wasting resources on those that get in and don't do anything. If someone becomes a problem, it is dealt with appropriately. If someone isn't a problem, they're fine to stay regardless of activity until it's time for a scheduled purge.I read someone suggesting that you treat a BBR application like a Job application. I asked last time the new Member applications were starting if the BBR did anything along the lines of a performance review. You know when you sit down with your boss and he asks "What do you even do around here all day?" or "Man you ****ing suck at this, but your application was really professional so as long as you are active here at Wal Mart/Google/African Pirate Agency, we will keep you on board"
I mean honestly, what kind of job is it where the application is the hard part and then you just have to show up often enough not to get kicked out?
Huh? So if resources aren't wasted by allowing people to stay for simply trying, why not let more people in if they just want to help? The analogy isn't flawless, because this isn't a real job. People aren't getting paid; we aren't wasting resources on those that get in and don't do anything. If someone becomes a problem, it is dealt with appropriately. If someone isn't a problem, they're fine to stay regardless of activity until it's time for a scheduled purge.
So yeah, treat the application like a job application. Once you're in, the job analogy sort of falls apart and it's more about being a constructive member of the community imo.
I was pretty sure at one point there were different levels of Premiums, including a "Diamond Membership" which granted users to the Back Rooms. I don't know about you, but it was definitely way before I ended up joining SWF.I don't think premium members were ever allowed BR access in the first place, actually. That wouldn't make any sense, as the two groups serve entirely different purposes.
Hmm, that's odd. I'll have that corrected.I wish I were cool enough to be on the BBR member list. I guess I'll apply next time with a new and improved application
You've always been on the list, but you changed nicknames for a while, remember?I wish I were cool enough to be on the BBR member list. I guess I'll apply next time with a new and improved application
as an ICs main, it seems legit for there to be 2 of him. One representative for Popo, one for Nana?Well, now you're on the list twice. Good job.
Sometime around mid-March.Good stuff!
When will be the next application time where people can apply for the BBR?
