Banjo Kazooie Project: Looking for Partners

Hello everyone, thebaum64 here! Today I am starting a new modding project around Banjo Kazooie! I am looking for some experianced modders (I am still new to this) to help in the development! We will be doing many things in the project so if you have any good ideas, please post below! This will consist of making a Banjo PSA and getting banjo's N64 skin/texture! Many other textures and PSA's such as Grunty, Mumbo, and many more! Also making and designing Banjo Kazooie based maps! I would like you to apply below for what part of this build/mod you would like to apply for in the comments below! Please tell me what you have experiance in aswell! I support this, though sadly my only experience is model knowledge and a few things about game development...

(hint hint, about my knowledge)

I'm currently not brawl hacking atm because of UMC... heh
but , when my mind shifts from UMC, I'll come to you. :)

heck I'm making a single-slot port of Pachirisu over Pikachu.
of course I wanna fight Pachi with Pika. :p

I'm thinking that after I come back from camp, I'll get to work on Banjo and a map. It'd probably be safe to do a "Banjo Over Mario" thing since there's already a model, so It'd save me trouble. That's were we should start.

no i need the n64 model... and i am going to do it over olmar. i use mario often. plus olnar is a better size fit.

I actually agree that a higher quality model should be made :)
but it's your project, do what you like ;)

if I knew how to extract the data from an N64 ROM, I could take a look into the model format and prbly have a conversion for ya :)
(I don't think any format could be as hard to crack as the HAL DAT format) XD

if you already have an extracted ROM, please send the models, :)
and I'll get to work on redoing UMC's export interface even sooner. ;)
(hopefully I'll have a release sometime soon)

I think Mario's a better size fit. Anyways, we need more people on this project. I know a guy on Brawl Vault via Youtube, I'll message him and see if he want's to commit to our cause. Also, I can't find the Project 64 thread that you made @ thebaum64 thebaum64 . Link it real quick?

I can recommend tbtechwiz aka Diddy Kong for ya :)
he's a really good audio modder.
he normally resides around MKW, but he also does Brawl.

I havn't contacted him yet because he doesn't wake until a few hours from now,
so if I'm not busy as heck with UMC, I'll refer this thread to him. :)

(I only use their best OS which is WinXP, but I've gone as far as to replace the shell with one of my own) >:3

I WANT to design my own OS and put MS in their rightful place >;3

I have gotten the model (banjo w/ Kazooie) :D i just need some help rigging and the psa i need help with aswell !

Hey, how is this project doing? I've always wanted to see a Banjo-Kazooie psa be done. I see you guys have gotten the model but nothing has been said on the actual move set/psa. I would help but I only have a very basic knowledge of brawl box and smash attacks.

yea, my OS won't have a hard-coded RAT in the kernel like anything above XP
now what part of that is more secure?
image what I could do if I got a hold of that interface...
now imagine what someone worse than me could do.
(everyone's computers running win7-8 would be F'd)
^Vista does have the RAT, but I don'tbelieve it's operational, and 7 needs an update before the RAT'll work.

Update on the model: I'm having a bit of trouble. It's hard to get a good N64 model by itself because both LOD models are rigged at the same time and they are hard to separate. It would almost be easier for me to make a model out of scratch. Almost. What I originally wanted to do was take the N64 model and add more polygons and stylize it similar to Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong.

I do have an idea though. I can get a model from one of the cutscenes in Banjo-Tooie. There is a problem though. The exporter will not export the model correctly. If I can get the exporter to quit acting up, I can get a good model.

Anyway, can we get a sketch artist to illustrate what classic Banjo would look like in Brawl? Perhaps even in a T-pose as the attached imaged depicts. This makes it easier to model on top of and do an accurate job.

A banjo Tooie model would be great, the cut-scenes are usually better res as well, so even better... I can't draw Banjo but I want him to be colorful, not dull like everything else in brawl
