As the official GameCube Adapters are scarce I was wondering if the third party adapters are good and if they suffer from input lag and such.

Thanks man, I'll look into the Mayflash Adapter. I don't mind using the gamepad either but I'm scarred mine will get broken or gain any issues with it.I own a Mayflash adapter, I think it's better than the Nintendo made ones because it thinks its a classic controller and you can play games like Brawl, Xenoblade, and Virtual console as the official nintendo adapter can not. I don't notice any lag with Smash but I personally like using the gamepad more.
