Are the Third Party GameCube Adapters decent?

As the official GameCube Adapters are scarce I was wondering if the third party adapters are good and if they suffer from input lag and such.

I own a Mayflash adapter, I think it's better than the Nintendo made ones because it thinks its a classic controller and you can play games like Brawl, Xenoblade, and Virtual console as the official nintendo adapter can not. I don't notice any lag with Smash but I personally like using the gamepad more.

Thanks man, I'll look into the Mayflash Adapter. I don't mind using the gamepad either but I'm scarred mine will get broken or gain any issues with it.

Also, the 1 and 2-port Mayflashes have slight input lag, but the 4-port Mayflashes have virtually no lag.

Also you can just play Brawl with a GC controller because of the ports on the side of the Wii.

I once used a 1-port Mayflash adapter a few months into the game. While my GameCube controller performed like it should, there was some cumbersome limitations that became a minor nuisance.

Because the system reads your controller as a WiiMote (hence the connection), your Pause function is relegated to the HOME Menu. So no L+R+A+Start or pauses. If you're using a Wavebird, you'll likely have to sit a couple inches away from the WiiMote because it can run into connection and input chops if you position isn't as aligned.

I later bought a KELUX 4-port adapter, and I haven't needed a replacement since. It works just like the official Nintendo adapters, and I believe it's cheaper than the officials. I highly recommend you buy one through Amazon or something.
