Hi people! I'm looking for some PAL codes cause obviously I only got a PAL disk, so these are the codes I'm hoping/wishing/wanting to get.

No Tags (in game)
Colored Shields

I've been looking around to no avail for those so I thought I'd request them here if they're done being ported and I just haven't noticed.

Is there also such a code which allows someone to mod in the 5th 6th and 7th character (like how they do it for multiman brawl) using the cheats to set who they are? if not, no biggy, I wasn't expecting to find such a code anyway if there isn't.

Try to help instead of telling people too. I can't help, haven't got the time, so I do neither. I just count on these guys and feel happy knowing that they are making process.

Then you should have read the first post, which says:

green = ported ; red = not ported ; yellow = partially ported/port is glitchy
gray = unknown

Anyone gonna tell me if that code is available? (no tags) Or are you just gonna ignore meh?
(Color shields can wait if it's not here yet somewhere)

btw, Rkey: Thats obsolete, cause the custom character sheet code works, I've tried it. I made a four character only sheet and it worked fine to a degree. but that should technically be yellow cause there are random freezes occasionally which didn't happen when i turned it off, but it is ported enough to be useable cause I have been using it.

the reason CSS is listed as red is because the codes "giga and company" and some others need to be ported, otherwise the seperate pokemon and sheik can't be on the roster. and without those the custom CSS is kind of pointless.

regarding RC1, I'm very busy with school and I doubt I have any time before december 21.

Don't worry, I'm still making progress. Ganondorf's done and I've almost finished Link. I've been sorting out my University application and coursework, so I haven't had too much time. It's all over and done with now, so I should have a little more time to do stuff.

EDIT: Just finished Link too. Some of his actions have around 10 sounds (I'm looking at you Spin Attack).

Hi, I'm new here. Anyway, I got Brawl for Christmas and am trying to get textures working. I'm using a code a friend gave me and it's working for him, yet when I try to load the game with the code, the game doesn't even load, I just get a black screen. Anyone know what might be up?

Oh, it's ok though. I'm already glad that my attempt to port a code worked. xD
Perhaps I can help porting 5.0 for a bit (I'm inexperienced, but maybe there are some codes I can port), so if you want any help, I'll try my best.

If you want to play Brawl+ 5.0 (or whatever version it is), please do not wait and sit but help instead with porting the pac files. It is incredibly easy, it only takes some time.

For unrestricted replay camera, I just had all the codes above in a gct file and I had unrestricted camera when I was looking at my replay, so it must be in there somewhere? Its probably with the unrestricted camera code =)

Think i listed all the unknown codes accept unrestricted control editing cuz i dont know what that is and disable custom stages and ledge invincibility duration.

You Cant wavedash off the edge ><. Seems easier to wavedash with z instead of R and L =P.

Is there a code that gives falcon his second jump back after falcon kick? I keep trying to recover with it then remember I dont get another jump in brawl =/.

Here you go:

You port a .pac file with the following method:

- Open up the 5.0 NTSC file of a character and open up the PAL file of that character in another window.

- Go to subactions and from the events list, select "SFX" (for both)

- Scroll down through the subactions of the NTSC set until you find one with an SFX effect in it.

- Go to that same subaction in the PAL file

-Change the stuff in the NTSC window to what you see in the PAL window.

- Scroll to the next subaction in the NTSC file with sound etc. etc. until you reach the end of the file.

-Save the NTSC file to a new location (because this is now ported to PAL).

it really is easy, but each character usually has 500 subactions (probably only 40% has SFX though) so it is a LOT of work.

Hey, I tried it today, and I have a problem.
If I open a PAC file it does work but when I open another window and open the other PAC file I get "Error reading file". oO
I had the same problem, but it's easy to fix. Just make another folder with the Smash Attacks program in it.
Apparently it's only possible to open 1 pac file with "one" program, so putting another Smash Attacks in a different location and use both will fix it.
