The one that beat your marth game 1, then you complained about how laggy it was for 10 minutes and that we should have stopped XD but viva wanted to continue ( i was playing on his account ) and then you went TL and outcamped the next 2 games :(

preview of potential Marth advice thread. if i get positive feedback on this one i'll write more

Getting Grabs:

Marth is exceedingly strong because he gets grabs real easy. The more tippers you land the more pressured your opponent is to shield or dodge. Since you're a mid level player, most people will default to just shielding, which allows you to open them up. Many marths lack "fluidity" because they're not conscious of the grab option. Learn to love marth's sword not only as a tool that directly deals damage but also as a tool that sets you up for grabs.

o it's because there's an exceeding # of mid level marths nowadays. I meant to put "Guide for the Mid Level Marth" as a preface

i'm okay at the ditto. i'm not great at neutral but my punishes and tricks are strong.

I think the secret to the ditto is to not be scared.

Well no one's going to read that then xD you need to be a better salesman. Make a more persuasive and appealing title that applies to all Marth players. You should reveal high level tactics even to new players as long as they see the reasoning behind it. They'll get better quickly that way ;)

Well, considering I'm playing again and doing a better job of working on improving than when I first was playing, any knowledge drop is nice.

Yeah it's great that he's doing this (he's always really helpful with data and character analysis)...I just think he shouldn't specifically target it towards any certain level of player

Marths are so rare that it feels almost impossible to ever marth ditto...

Not as impossible as a Samus or DK ditto, though...
