Directions:
From Gainesville/I-75 from the North
Going South on I-75, Take the SR-326 exit (Exit 358)
Turn Left onto SR-326
Follow this road for a while until it ends at SR-40. Turn Left onto SR-40.
Continue on SR-40 for quite some time. Be patient for this road, traffic can be bad.
SR-40 Intersects SR-17. At this intersection, there is a Railroad crossing, Junk Store, and Valero Gas Station.
Turn Right onto SR-17.
SR-17 takes you into Deland.
Total time from Gainesville to Deland: 2-2.5 Hours

From Tampa/I-4 from the South
Going North on I-4, Take the 3rd Deland exit (Exit 118)
Turn Right coming off the offramp. There will be a sign to your right saying "Stetson University 6 mi ->" So go -> (R).
This road will take you into Deland
Total time from Tampa to Deland: 2 hours

From Melbourne/I-95 from the South
Going North on I-95, Take the SR-44 exit (Exit 249)
Turn Left coming off the offramp. There will be a sign on your left saying "Deland 20 mi <-" So go <- (L).
This road will take you into Deland, conveniently is the same road which takes the I-4's into Deland too.
Total time from Melbourne to Deland: 1.5 hours
-I have only driven this route twice, so I don't know it as well.

More specific directions are foundhere.

Food:
There are many restaurants in the area, as well as cooking provided by smashboard's own nooboob.

Entrance Fee and Payouts:
Cover Fee: $5 per person, for food (dinner, breakfast, lunch, dinner?) and sleep space the night before if necessary.
Singles: $15 per person, payout 60/30/10
Teams: $15 per person, ($30 per team) payout 60/30/10

"Schedule":
There will be housing at the venue (nooboob's place) for over night on Friday, maybe Saturday night too. This is for those who might be coming long distances or don't want to wake up early.

"Doors" open at 10. Registration for teams closes at 11.
Teams starts no later than 11:30. After teams singles registration will close, and there will be a lunch break.
Following lunch there will be singles pools, and immediately after follows the bracket.
Afterward we'll all go eat and chill somewheres.
---Don't come to this smelling like butt. In fact, if you tend to begin to reak, bring deodorant.

Singles rules:

Double Elimination

Best of 3 sets, and winners, losers and grand finals best of 5.

4 stock, 8 minute limit

Ties broken by a match on the same stage, same characters with one stock.

Items OFF

Dave's Stupid Rule (DSR): No stage may be used twice in a single match, either by random select or by picking

Stage Banning: Each person knocks out one stage for entire set. This stage must be selected at the beginning of the match, after initial characters have been chosen.

Mutual Banning: If both players agree to ban a counterpick level, they may ban said level from their set while retaining their original individual bans.

Mutual Allowing: If both players agree to play on a certain stage as a random or counterpick, they may play on that stage even though it is otherwise banned.

Advanced Slobs: Loser chooses the next stage or random, winner chooses character, then loser chooses character.

Double Blind pick may be called at the beginning of each set.

Neutral stages: FD, Pkstm, DL64

Counterpick stages: All neutrals, YS, BF, FoD, RC, DK64, PPC, Kongo Jungle, JJs, GGs, Corneria, Brinstar, Mute, PkFlts.

Banned stages: Icicle Mt., G.Bay, Temple, Pipes, Venom, FlatZone, The Depths, Onett, 4side, Big Blue, MK I, MKII, and Yoshi's 64

It's way to early for me to say, but barring any catastrophic tests/inordinate amounts of homework, I should be able to make this. If I do come, I will bring a TV and possibly several Cubes.

X2X, There will be housing overnight at the place we're having it. But from what I understand, there's gonna be a $5 cover fee for sleep space/meals covering the time spent. Basically $5 for a place to sleep and eat for a day or so.
