Four Things No One Does (That They Should)

Could you make a gif of the short dash into run? Also, if you could explain what's happening for each frame? @Kadano Edit: Preferably with Marth?

    Help with Marth's spike.

Try getting the timing of letting go of this; Let go of ledge > Jump > Hold into stage > D air This way, you'll land safely onto the stage and not be stuck in the lag. Also apply it as a shuffle so you can reduce the lag incase of a whiff. Jay

When do you use Marth's Jab ?

Well I recently started using D-tilt into Jab. The IASA frames on the D-tilt lead into the jab pretty quickly, so it's safe at low percentages on a sourspot D-tilt. :)

    Marth help please

You could try practice juggling, Chain grabbing on lvl 3 foxes/falcos, and sweet spotting your up-b. Pivots are good aswell, whether it be pivot fsmashes or grabs. DI, L cancels, short hops, and shield drops. There's a never ending list of things you could practice. Think about your opponent's...

good ways to improve dash dancing?

For technical practices on DDing, try going to Pokemon Stadium and dash across the different "Notches", if you will. The stage has a ton of different sized distances. For example, try dash dancing the distance of the Pokeball on the center floor. Then try the edge to one of the small yellow...

Q&A "Everyone Look At Me!" The Marth Video Critique Thread.

The second video, first match. I could see that when you would try to recover, shiek was perfectly spaced to punish whatever attack you threw at her. I could see you were mixing up your attack each time, which may have been your way of "changing it up", but I'd say to recover differently each...

New Marth main struggling against crouch canceling

I liked your link! As for the question, you'll have to elaborate. Where are you positioned? Edge or Stage? I'm not positive, but if it's a tip hits an opponent, I believe it should hit through the cc. IF it doesn't work, spacing while on stage can save your life, but don't use laggy moves...

When would you say the best times to approach are?

Well, nooching (nair) on a shield is what not to do! If you're oponent's shield happy, i'd say , for that exact scenario, empty sh into a grab! Approaching w marth is hard, but look for lag from missed attacks, when the opponent is above you, or even let them come to you and punish OoS! Hope...

A regular old box t.v. is perfect. I'm sure that a cheap CRT from ancient history MIGHT have lag, but any of the relatively newer CRT's are good. Just test it out and you'll be able to tell. ^^
