I appreciate that you are trying to call it a setup fee or tournament fee, but I think people are use to that additional fee being called the "Venue Fee" (even if that's not entirely accurate). Maybe next time to avoid confusion you could say 80% of Venue fee is donated, and tournaments pay out...

Hey, I've been to every Matthews Smashers events except for 1, and I am a teacher. That said, it is probably slightly younger than most other Charlotte tournaments because it draws a lot of high school students. If you're worried about being the only adult there, don't worry. Come out and have fun.

Hey, so there is a conflict between this and a ReSe tournament at UNC Charlotte. I posted a topic on the FB group, and everyone said they were going to ReSe. I know its very short notice, but you might want to consider postponing this (maybe by 2 weeks?)

I'm planning on going to this. I'm moving to Charlotte 2 days prior, so this will be my first event in NC. I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone! Is there a facebook event for this? Also, what is the setup situation? Do you need setups, and is there a discount for coming with full setups?
