Is there anyone else I can get a hold of that would be able to help me? I really just wanna get this over with but I don't have any experience in this myself otherwise I'd have done it a while ago. With how expensive I hear this is I'd rather not trial and error my money down the toilet...

I've learned everything i have up til now by playing online and I have no interest in ever getting used to playing on a 64 controller. I've tried the hori but it's so small and cramped that I don't like that either. Really the only thing I'm comfortable with is a playstation or Xbox pad. Now...

Yo so who can fill me in on how we deal with projectiles in general? I've tried power shielding and I don't think it's in the game...right? I dunno I feel like there's something I probably don't know about that would make my life a bit easier. So hey if there is.. then any input would be great ;)

Not sure how you guys are doing against lil mac but some guy demonstrated that I can't shield grab him after a dash attack if he mashes out a jab..! somehow his jabs come out quicker than my shield grab does...which is incredibly stupid lol~

I was thinking this but wasn't sure if there'd be enough time to do it. I'll give it a shot. but you can confirm this works? Like there's enough time from my shield stun and his recovery from dash attack?

I think having a thread where we describe common situations that we run into could really speed the learning process along. So I'd like to start by posting a situation and then have someone hopefully describe the correct response(s). Then if all goes well we keep this going where we help each...

I would say whatever match you think exemplifies solid marth play the most (so I guess the Azen one?) Maybe discuss what he did right and why it's right and what he did wrong and what could have been done instead. I think that kind of analysis is the most helpful : )

Hey how do you even do the pivot grab? the ftilt seems to come out every time I attempt it despite me trying to vary up the timing/letting the circle pad return to neutral. : / Edit: wait I think I'm getting it. looks like you just have to do it rapidly. I think.

Emblem Lord would you be interested in doing match analysis at some point? You seem to have good insight into the character.
