Been a while since I've posted! (Not since the Wii U days and the dreams of him getting in via the ballot) I've been hardcore lurking this thread, figured I'd finally return. I've never been so hyped in my life. His trailer was amazing. HE'S BACK BABY HAIL TO THE KING, WE DID IT, DREAMS...

Well, I think another thing to consider, is he uses "person" to describe the character. I don't really think that would be accurate in regards to K. Rool? Most people would refer to him as a character. So idk.

Creeping stuff about Stealth, he seems to be into Isaac/Andy. He did a podcast thing with RogersBase on youtube, he doesn't seem to say much about K. Rool, but says "he's big and a villain" and would fit because of that. Seems to be neutral about K. Rool though.

I wouldn't be so sure. Seems like Sakurai and his team have still been working on Smash. They've been making stages, costumes etc. With all the time they've had the past couple of months, it's probably safe to assume they've started on some of the next DLC fighters. Assuming we're getting 3-4...

I don't think so. -IF- what Retro has been working on is DKCR3 with the return of the Kremlings, I'm surprised we haven't seen it. It's been a year and a half since tropical freeze, and I'd be assuming they'd still be using the same engine. I think they would have shown it off by now? Probably...

Also something interesting... Dunno if it's been brought up, probably has but The K. Rool mii costume doesn't have a trademark on it. If they recently trademarked him, how come it isn't with the costume? Was this costume ready to go before the trademark occurred? Why is King K. Rool™ absent...

Hmmm, in that case, I hope not. I wouldn't put it past Sakurai to pick and choose. He's been adamant before that a newcomer has to be unique and have potential for a moveset. Perhaps if he can't see the potential, then he could skip over them? Let's just hope that he doesn't actually have a bias...
