What are your opinions on Customs Post-Evo 2015?

I main Villager and Pikachu. Two characters that benefit A LOT from customs. But I've found that variety comes with preference and knowledge. YOUR OWN knowledge. Don't just watch a 7 second gif and then conclude that something is OP, broken, jank, etc. Hit the lab, do your own testing...

Q&A Pikachu Q&A Thread (Ask a Quick Question, Get a Quick Answer)

I like to run back, then B reverse Thunder Jolt and run alongside it, forcing a reaction from your opponent. Similar to a Villager and his Lloid, but faster. This mixed with QA and all its properties makes Pikachu a character with a lot of options.

    Villager in the 1.0.8 update.

I must say. Down throw to triple turnip up air is extremely satisfying

    Lloid Braking - We Livin~

Yeah I'm pretty sure I didn't take damage, but it was really weird iirc I was in a corner, no way it should have whiffed but I need to watch the vod to confirm

    Lloid Braking - We Livin~

Hmm actually since this is brought up. I do remember facing a little Mac once, trying to predict the KO punch so I could use pocket's invincibility frames. I mistimed it, but as I was holding B, the KO punch just pushed me (like a windbox) and it wasn't a weak windbox either.

    Lloid Braking - We Livin~

So as of now, this glitch seems to be associated with electric moves, and nothing to do with Flat Zone, correct? Would Falcon's knee count as electric?

That "glitch" regarding throwing an item and jumping off the Lloyd is still in

    Important Official Custom Moveset Project

I'm a Villager main who participated in the discussion. I supported what that one player was saying, how the sets shouldn't force you to have exploding balloons, because I preferred the default recovery for the longest time personally. It was the last custom I converted to for Villager, and...

I have an erie feeling that Villager will be nerfed badly

Villager has a solid amount of kill options. It puzzles me to still hear people say that he/she lacks kill ability. What other characters have both a dtilt AND up tilt that can kill? Ganon is one off the top of my heard. Of course, landing kill moves is something every player has to go...

Atlantic South [April 13, 2015] Monday Night Smash Series (New Orleans, LA)

Will most likely be able to attend tonight. How late does this usually run? Might bring my younger brother.

CEO 2015 Will Not Have Customs Legal & 2 Stock 5 Minutes

While Diddy and Sheik have proven to be the two best in vanilla smash4, it's yet to see who will reign supreme in the custom smash4 meta. And let's not forget, Diddy and Sheik will still be viable too. Custom moves change no more than a 4th of a characters moveset. The best part now, while...

Voting Time - Most Popular Villager Custom Sets - Pick 10, not 3 XP

It's his least viable tree move in 1v1, but it does have its use in doubles. Not that it's a bad move, but the poor frames on it isn't worth it, considering default timber is already a good kill option. But I would like to see more people use Super Timber's watering can, could have great gimp...

Voting Time - Most Popular Villager Custom Sets - Pick 10, not 3 XP

From experience, I've concluded that pushy Llyod is better vs Ness because he can't really reflect it back at your due to it's limited range. But of course that's my preference and shouldn't reflect the Villager community as a whole. If anyone wants 3122 or anything similar, please feel free...

Official Official Standard Custom Moveset Project: Villager

Good points. Super Timber's watering can also becomes a legitimate tool. There should be at least one-and most likely only one-Super Timber set. 1323 is probably the way to go because Pushy Llyod adds time to plant/water/cut the tree. And default pocket is clearly epic in doubles. The only...

After 237 hours with Villager, I'm dropping him.

Pocketed items can still be reflected too though. Like I said, it's not an automatic loss, but it's still a disadvantage, and it's hard to argue against that. Moreso reflectors like Palutena, Ness, and Falco.
