    There is only 1 Qur'an. There are many interpertations in every language (translations but no one can "translate" it word by word)

    I don't know if some outlier group that claims to be a sect of Islam (sects are forbidden in Islam) that modified the Qur'an to their standards, but that wouldn't be the real Qur'an then

    So yea, only 1 Qur'an, many interperations from scholars. There is no best translation. The best way to understand the Qur'an is to learn Arabic and read it yourself. I would say its best for someone doesn't know Arabic to read at least 3 scholar's interpertations to try to understand the Qur'an.

    Ike boards are very diverse, theboredone is also Muslim. We had another Muslim Ike player who used to post on the boards too (An(m)ist, in profiles thread too)

    It can be discussed and I think I've already said everything. The data I guess could have been made to be easier to read, but nothing will change that it was complicated and a lot of work. People will have to dig in if they really want to see how it went down.

    Pity, while it may sound rather cruel I am rather curious about the injuries one could suffer from long term teleportation.

    Does it not involve communicationw ith another body and thus it would kind of "swap places" with the body?

    True but you have to admit it would be much more interesting to know how to teleport.
    Makes me wonder if everyone in the world would become morbidly obese as a result.

    It does have a decent enough impact. Part of the reason the whole myth about cold=sick does stem from that trend. You can think of it in terms of temperatire. The body maintains itself at 98.6. Anything below that tends to force the body to work harder to maintain it, its even worse if you stay out for extended period of time. On the other hand, its much easier to keep something hot than it is to cool it, so you see less people getting sick from disease. Like i said its just a trend not directly correlated, it just leads from one to the other to the next. I hate life, too complicated.

    Mhm, the cold causes a disturbance in regards to the bodies natural immune system which would then make it moe vulnerable to disease, but its not direct correlation even though one would observe a bit of a trend.

    I am a chronic asthmatic. So the cold weather is terrible for my lungs, even more so since my insurance recently cut off my emergency inhalers. Otherwse I'd go out and beat up m2k(in 2000 years)
