I love when people try to justify Diddy by saying you should learn how to deal with him better. Like it's our fault his attacks are as long as a sword, disjointed, and very fast lol. ZeRo dominated Apex with Diddy Kong and I hope Nintendo was watching the monster they created. I personally don't mind the Diddy Kong match up, but it's boring seeing him everywhere.

Wow, as a camper/zoner type of player, I'm really disappointed in the Character Competitive Impressions thread at the moment which has been getting off-topic or whiney (complaining is alright-ish but there's too much of that in that thread) for a long time

That thread's been disgusting for the majority of the top 8.

I really don't understand what people are getting angry about, Dabuz vs M2K was the hypest set I've seen to date. Even vs Abadango with two matches going to time, I found the matches really interesting, seeing how the characters were trying to get past the other's kit (though I am baffled that Abadango didn't either switch to Wario or just play his Pac more aggressively, he clearly wasn't going to get past GP with items).

vs Mr. R and 6WX weren't even slow and yet people are complaining about defensive play wtf

Why pp usmash when you can (turnaround) jump cancel usmash? Why pp fsmash when you can pivot or stutterstep fsmash?

Late response but u get pivot tilts and jab as well, u can extend ur up tilt combos end even extend the combos with true pivot jab to d throw nair. and its more movent for zelda, which she ultra needs, since her approach game has been bad in every game.

Oh, I get that. I mean, why do people make a big deal out of perfect pivot usmash and fsmash specifically when you can already do those moving with less technical difficulty via jump cancelling or pivot/stutter step respectively. Tilts, jab, and dsmash are where it's at with perfect pivots.
