I didn't even make out the spherical fingers the first time though, I was kept up in the intensity of the situation and focusing on the water shuriken he was charging up.

Didn't think it was Mewtwo, was just saying "WHooOOOOOooo is it!!? who who who who"

That's how it was for me, although I figured it was Greninja once I saw him charging the Water Shuriken, I just I didn't think he'd be playable at that moment for some reason.

When it dawned to me that he is playable, my thoughts were basically:
"I didn't ask for this

But I want him now."

I was confused with Charizard being solo and Greninja's addition. I was also pleasantly surprised with the turn of events. However, with four Pokemon already confirmed, I was getting worried about Jigglypuff.

Mario and Charizard's face-off was awesome!

I wanted them to embrace x and y not just circlejerk gen 1.

I'm honestly surprised a lot of people thought it was Mewtwo at first. I feel like the body looked a lot different, and he was charging a blue thing, not shadow ball.

The trailer, starts I think "Oh is this a Fire Emblem character?"
I saw the Pokeball's and though "Oh my god The Pokemon trainer is back!"(The adrenaline was kicking in and I forgot about the no switching thing)
Charizard's splash screen appears, and i'm hyped beyond everything, because I love Charizard.
I see the shadowy figure, and I couldn't really make out who it was, for a split second I thought, "Oh sweet Mewtwo"
Then I see the water and then I said "Nope, nevermind, not Mewtwo"
I'm getting hyped. The tension was extremely high, I just wanted to know who the hell it was.

I see the water, and then I shouted "WHO?" then I see the big scarf tongue, and I was thinking "No ****ing way" then his splash screen appears and I think "**** yes, **** yes, **** you Mewtwo, see ya in Melee." Then many Oh my gods later the trailer finished and I am hype...still. Should I consult a doctor? My hype hasn't died down after 4 hours.

I was way more hyped when I first saw Charizard rather than Greninja.

I was immediately suspicious when Charizard showed up cause they never gave a trailer to a returning character so I was thinking that there had to be more to it than that and during the point where Greninja was being hidden and charging the water shuriken, while I had Mewtwo on the mind, at the same time I was thinkng "No it can't be." and then when Greninja finally showed himself I was a little confused at first cause I didn't recognize his design rightaway cause I ditched Greninja in Pokemon X as soon as I got Vaporeon really early on and part of it was because i didn't really like Greninja's design but the more I watched his gameplay video the more hyped I got for him.

I was so psyched, as I loved Greninja in Pokemon X/Y.

Mine was like that, except I wasn't hyped for Charizard.

And don't worry, being hyped for the most awesome newcomer ever is completely normal.
