I also want your reasons. They can be confirmed, or uncomfirmed or deconfirmed. I don't want you to choose them just because they are confirmed. This is the peoples ideal roster. You don't want Ice Climbers? Don't choose 'em . I want true Seriousness. For the first hundred posts (if it gets that far) I will keep track of all choices by a tally systems. Yup, nothing from Earthbound/F-Zero, little from Pokèmon, impossible choices abound, little retro, and the Pokèmon are utterly different from most folks. Just reflects my personal interests is all. I'm just happy to see many of my favorite choices getting in (Sonic, Ike, Pit, Diddy) and others with high odds of doing so. If 1-2 of my less-likely-yet-realistic choices makes it (Isaac, Midna, K Rool, Micaiah), I'll be pretty well ecstatic.

Captain Syrup - She is one of Nintendo's first and few villaines' and is Wario's first villain. She would make a great fighter with her pirate fighting style.

Ashley: At the time of this post, the only thing she has going for her really is that her theme song is in the game. She could be a collective representative of Nintendo's other magic users like Magikoopa who would otherwise be redundant in their movesets.

Kumatora: Aside from being on Sakurai's poll, she is a total contrast to other Nintendo princesses. This princess is rude, tomboyish, and fights with her fists along with her arsenal of PK powers.

Tom Nook: Personally, I think this guy represents the Animal Crossing series best. He is his own character and is not supposed to be you.

put cloud and sepheroth in the game and i will be happy if you could only put 1 then sepheroth all the way.

im shocked that i haven't seen alot of peopel askin for seph..... cloud adn seph would be perfect in smash. their sword fighters but they could be very differnt types of sword fighters. cloud has that huge sword hes be a power guy with decent reach good weight and decent speed. and seph would have speed and range plus seph's sword is soo **** cool..

Little Mac- Punch out was an amazing NES game that required more strategy and reflexes than I thought it would at first, and would be interesting to see how a fairly normal person fares in the smash world.

Wind Waker Link- It always kind of irked me how adult Link seems to keep getting the smash bros loving when he's only been in two games of the whole series. Young Link( wind waker style) deserves rep far more than adult in my opinion.

Geno (He's a possessed doll with guns for arms. What more reason do you need?)

Ridley (Because he's extremely iconic and would bring a new perspective to battling)

Breloom/Weavile/Gardevoir/Blaziken (Four of my favorite pokemon. All of them would be excellent, but sadly not a single one stands a chance of being playable)

Luigi (He stands the best chance now of not being a clone of Mario, so why not take the opportunity?)

Sukapon (I have no idea who he/she/it is or where he/she/it came from, but he/she/it looks entertaining.)

Marina Lightyears (Yeah, it's a LONG shot, but....SHAKE SHAKE! :D)

And now for 3rd party characters that would be a LOT of fun, but stand no chance, because they were never on Nintendo consoles.

Dynamite Headdy (If you remember him, I applaud you. His moveset would be so much fun to play, but alas, he was Sega-only.)

Razputin (From Psychonauts. No, he wouldn't be a Ness clone. Once again, very fun, but impossible)

Hmmm...the hardest question to ask a Smash Bros. fan. But of course, being that I am a Smash Bros. fan, this has already been thought out. Anyway, my top choices are as follows:

Geno (If my name didn't already give that away. But yeah, he's a ****ing star knight.
Star Knight=Awesome)

Andy (From Advance Wars. Not that I'm a paticularly big Advance Wars fan or anything, but as far as new series characters go, he seems like a cool choice. And an Advance Wars level has unlimited potential)

Sora (The main character from the other biggest cross-over in video games, Sora from Kingdom Hearts could be awesome. And he'd be the first key-wielded fighter...if that means anything)

Viewtiful Joe (Play the game. Play the amazing game and then tell me you don't agree)

Ridley: i luuurvvs him. out of all the space dragons working for evil organizations opposing the ruling government in the galaxy, Ridley would have to be number one.

Cel Shaded Link: i've just completed phantom hourglass and i've got the VIBE!!! seriously though, he has some nice potential for a moveset (waaahh; link clone, wwaaahhh) as long as you make him separate enough from link it works.

Krystal: great potential moveset-wise as a staff wielder, and an interesting character to boot!

Captain Olimar: to tell you the truth, i've never played Pikmin, but i think Olimar would have to be one of the most original characters that nintendo has created in a long time. in addition, moveset potential is quite interesting.

and finally, after having seen it in the post above (edit: 2 posts above me), Razputin...cos hes hot. and psychonauts is a freaking awesome game. if you haven't played it, play it. if you haven't heard of it, die.
