World War Wii is a weekly Smash Bros. 4 Wii U tournament that is always changing. Unlike most Smash Bros. tournaments, World War Wii promotes character diversity by making a different set of fighters playable every week! The tournament is free to enter every Saturday at 2PM EST and currently has $50 in prizes divided among the winners every week.

It's been real hosting the tournament since Smash 4 released. The tournament has come to an end but we still will have an event for the release of Mewtwo and will also look into returning come later this summer to see if we are more wanted by this point. We hope you all had a good time in the tournament and we hope to run more events in the future! It's been a pleasure hosting for all of you!

Basically just be at twitch.tv/WorldWarWii a few minutes before 2PM EST on Sunday. All that you need to have is a Challonge account and I will go over the process of how everything will run!

Yep! Ended about an hour before you posted this. Had about 30 entrants, Ness vs DK in the finals with the Ness player coming out on top!

World War Wii will from now on be on Saturdays though, so please come and compete this upcoming Saturday! The theme will be Miis only (Gotta give the players who can't play online some love, right?) and although the time is not yet set I will update it later this week!

Damn you know what? I actually remembered this today and was going to make it this time, I even set up my watch alarm at a set time. Unfortunately between the time I remembered and before the set time, it dropped from my mind and I had to pick up a package instead. During that gap of being away is when the tourney started. I was only remembered to set timer this time because of Riot's post the day before. :S

I was almost in your spot. I was prepared and then the lens on one of my glasses fell off, thought I wouldn't be able to play. Luckily I had a back-up pair that I remembered at the last minute and came in 3rd place for the tournament. Really glad I had my backup or else I woulda missed it just like you did.

You can name yourself whatever you want in the bracket - just make sure that you set your chatzy name to that same name when you join the room tournament day!

You go into a chatzy when the tournament starts. In there you give your NNID to your opponent and play. After the tournament (or when you get knocked out) you can remove that person if you want to.

1v1 BO3. (1v1v1 If you're being streamed by WWW, he will come in and suicide puff at the start and you wait until he is out of stocks to start.)

You click on the Signup link in the OP and then appear to the stream (again, in OP) at 2PM EST on Saturday. (1:30 PM EST if you want to make suggestions for the next week's theme!)
