Smash Wii U Wii U Pro Controller VS GCN Controller!

Hey everyone! So... I have used the pro controller for about a year now for SM4SH and recently I got a GCN controller (Smash Edition). Is there any actual difference between these two controllers? I noticed that when I am using the Pro Controller (MIGHT just be me) I tend to notice like a frame of lag here and there compared to the GCN controller. The GCN controller just seems a lot more responsive and easier to do movements. Is this true or no? I'd really appreciate an answer!

Button layout differences can potentially determine which controller is better for the individual. However, you do need a specific accessory to use GameCube Controllers, while Wii U Pro Controllers don't need any extra accessories.

The only thing stopping me from using a gcc is the lack of a fourth shoulder button. It's a really comfortable controller otherwise.
