Wii Pay and Play

I knew this was coming, but I still hoped.

This could still mean playing brawl and wi-fi is free, but i now doubt it.

There is already a topic on this, not sure where it went.

People just don't seem to understand what they are talking about though. It clearly says expansion to the wifi service, meaning what is here now will remain intact, eg. free.

It also specifically says some services. That also means not everything is going to be charged for.

Finally, if they were going to charge for all games, why would they need to change the logo?

Basically, this is probably going to be a charge for special case scenarios online, like maybe a MMO type game, or DLC. Or possibly something completely off the wall we would never think of... it is Nintendo after all.

Brawl surely won't becauseit's free in Japan, why making the rest of the world pay?
I think this service was only amde to make MMO producers more likely to rpoduce for Wii too, because now they can earn way more money.

I don't think that you'd have to pay for online multiplayer like Brawl or Mario Kart do because hardly anybody would pay for it very long.
