Why is Young Link a Peach Counter?

Probs Jash. So Far he has not lost to a Peach yet. Only Peach that can beat him and has Before is Dark.Pch Those 2 always go at it. I also gotta give him probs for beating this pro jash here. Now Im not saying that no Peach cant beat him when I say "the only Peach that can beat him" Im sure Cort and PC and others can beat Jash. But so from what I know, Dark.Pch is the only Peach that has done it. I want it recorded nextime you guys fight. It be 2 hawt!!

I would also like to add that Phanna's chart is correct in EVERYTHING. He makes all the right decisions like Ness beats all the low tiers and that Mario beats Luigi. >_>

PC is definitely too good, but im glad i played him, it was my first time so i definitely know what to work on. Umm. . . Falco is easier for Adult Link. I am not totally sure about Young Link, but they are similar.

Fox is stupid, but playing non experienced Foxs = win. Fighting PC's = FTL

I still think fox does better than falco because fox is so ridiculously fast that he can kind of like neutralize any hopes YLink has of spamming and kills him earlier.

Also I think link does better in the matchup than young link but I'm not saying the latter does bad :x

Bleh, I hate picking characters that are both emo or a counter of the sorts. Call it pride or respect for Peach, but it's really cause it's not my style. My second is Link, who I rarely play.

Also, I gotta get good with Peach before I start playing with other characters.

Yes, I don't like Fox, and the chances of me getting beat by them is at least 75%, but I'm gonna do my best and give faith to that 25%.

playing one character (especially a bad character, or in young links case a "not THAT good" character) is simply limiting to yourself

i dont recommend it if you have asparations of greatness

sure, knowing the matchups for your character is good in the chance that you do get counterpicked, but having more than one character to make things easier (and more strategic) is also a good thing

Well if theres a limit then fine so be it then, ill be the one to exceed it if possible. I have been using Young Link for a while now and now i figured out mastering him really paid off for me big time. Theres no doubt in my mind about losing to high tiers *broken characters* because i can handle them without switch because Young Link can do that.

What about players that just want to get better? I don't reasonably believe I'd be good enough to win any kind of big tournament, especially this late in the game. But getting better than what I'm at currently isn't out of the question.

I agree. I would much rather fight Fox over Falco. Matches against Fox tend to be much faster than matches against Falco, but the difficulty level is considerably lower. I have a much higher win rate against Fox players than against Falco ones.

As for the topic at hand... Buzz counters Peach. ^_^
