Why do people say gamecube controller is the best?

I honestly like using the wii u pro. I do better with it then with gamecube.

Meh. They've been using it since Melee happened. I for one would abandon it, and play on the next big thing. I use the Pro Controller as well. It just seems like using the GameCube controller gives me a clunky feeling in both Brawl and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. It works flawlessly on Melee, but that's a given, since it's the only controller you can use in that game.
