I voted Link because I mained him in Melee and I'm pretty excited to see how he compares in Brawl, but after watching a lot of videos with Ike, I may have changed my mind. Ike is the first manly swordsman, and when he lands hits and combos he just looks awesome.

This is probably true. I think Wolf and Lucario are getting a lot of attention because they aren't characters we've known about for awhile, unlike say Mario who we've known about forever.
