Smash 3DS When, exactly, will Smash 4 be available for download?

Pardon me mods if this is already a thread somewhere. But - I can't find information about when exactly the game will be available for download on the 3DS store? Is this known? I would naturally like to download it as soon as possible! :D

For example, will the store be updated at midnight on Thursday (for some western time zone), or some time during the day on Friday?

Got the notification too (UK). Going to say with 99% certainty they mean 00:00 not 23:59

Does appear it is midnight, however Pokemon (not sure AC) is a bad example because that was a simultaneous world wide release, and I am not sure if this is or not, seeing as the demo wasn't and multiple people's notifications say midnight (different locations)

They go live at midnight Eastern time so it matches with the retail release. Since it's digital and all of the US, that means you'll actually get it "early" if you live somewhere with Pacific or Central time. It's 9 PM Pacific time, so depending on how slammed Nintendo's servers get you could be playing somewhere between 9-10. Hopefully.

The only digital midnight release I've gotten from Nintendo was Zelda (Link Between Worlds). It went up promptly and I don't recall having any issues besides it taking some time to download the thing via wifi.

This should clear up any confusions on the North American times:

5:00 PM - SST
6:00 PM - Hawaii
8:00 PM - Alaska
9:00 PM - PST
10:00 PM - MST
11:00 PM - CST
12:00 AM - EST
1:00 AM - AST

All times that are PM are on October 2nd, and all times that are AM are on October 3rd. I hope this helps!

You have to exit and reload. I also recommend waiting a minute or two after 9, because it doesn't always go up straight away.

I plan to download it ~5 AM EST or earlier, when people are most likely sleeping (after midnight, obviously), hopefully servers aren't dedded at that time.
