2. THE ICs ARE NOT DE-CONFIRMED...for God's sake people if melee can have two sideways-scrolling levels (pokefloats and rainbow cruise), why cant brawl have two upward scrolling levels? stop being narrow-minded

3. agreed, this is a dry and lame update. yet another stage ill block out of VS mode completely. predictions for tonight?

It is my staunch belief that NO ONE that has been in SSB64 would EVER leave. None have yet. Is it really that hard to add 10, even 15 newcomers without dropping even half that many from the previous roster? I just wonder if Luigi will finally gain "starter" status after being the only hidden character for two consecutive games.

I think your right. SSB64 had all the representatives from nintendo games in it, melee had a couple new representatives but mostly just sidekicks and other characters from those genres. I think Brawl will have a lot more representatives to promote all the new wii games coming out.

And Adder, Icey's are NOT weak. They're really good characters if you know how to use them properly(desynch, etc). I dunno what it is with characters like ICs and PEach being perceived as bad characters. Buffing Icey's would break the semblance of balance that they have. God, and people ***** about how they're broken now... >_>

It's obvious that the stage will get really dark till the background goes completely black, at which point the tropical vines and wooden platforms are replaced with red girders, rolling barrels, and flames that move around to burn you, making the stage much harder and more retro! Not only that, but the music will change appropriately to a remix of the Donkey Kong Arcade theme done with a full orchestra and 8-bit tones synchronized.

Only Nintendo could come up with such a twist! Of course, you'll have to be playing on that stage for at least 5 minutes before it begins to transit to that point.

I'll take a crack at it. I'm gonna guess that it's gonna be a character update---for Metaknight. Or Captain Falcon. Either one of those guys. I'm actually hoping for the latter, believe it or not; we all know that Metaknight's in the game. I wanna see me some more veterans!

1. ICs played right can pwn just about anyone when played right *lol cant you say redundant?*. my fox sucked againt a good ICs but my DK beat them...lol

My guess is that at the top of Rumble Falls, the mountain hosting the waterfall will explode, and all of the battlers have to fight at the bottom before the mountain regenerates, just a thought.

Icicle Mountain was a different story--but this seems okay.

any stages where you can die from the top, bottom, or either side without being touched by the opponent (other than Dreamland 64) is essential ban-worthy IMO. as for climbing...its probably a bad idea cuz it makes you perfectly vulnerable for bo-bomb target practice
