3 minutes or 120 seconds.

I believe you meant to say size. Whereas then, it varies. A 3 minute 1080p video is much large than a 3 minute 480p. Afterwards there's also the format of which the file is in. AVI is typically larger than MP4 at the same resolution. In other words, the title actually doesn't say all.

Ah crap. Yes, I meant size... Thanks x_x
Anyway, I meant in game. All the inputs and things that play the replay in the CD. I just wanted to know, since I have a bunch of replays... though I still doubt it would take much space. Anyways, what might it be approximately?

Not much, actually. Replays aren't video, but saved button inputs, RNG values, and a few other things. That's why the resolution can be automatically changed and doesn't effect size, can't be found as a video file, and why they break after every update with changes.

Well 40 minute games in League of Legends are just a few megabytes for their replays so I assume it's very small.

Thankfully, Sakurai announced the option of being able to turn the unplayable replays into Youtube videos(ala Mario Kart 8). I sure am glad that I decided not to get a capture card nor did I delete all my replays.

I just noticed that I'm running out of space for replays... I deleted a few, though. Anyway to move these replays somewhere so I can save space (though I doubt it.)
